iPod logic question.

okay i have a question. my friend marissa really pissed me off one day and i didn't want to talk to her. so my so called "best friend" pascal wants me to talk to her and i said no like 50 times. so he starts pulling me by my bookbag to her and i just let him take the bookbag off me.well i was really pissed so i just told him "drop it off later..." and kept walking. my iPod was in teh front pocket, which was closed, but it was still there and stuff. now my friend's dad is very strict and crap and won't buy him an iPod. so he likes to listen to mine a lot. he stole it once too. but i found out and kicked his ass. anyway so pascal has my bookbag for like 30 min. then he comes over and drops it off and then leaves. so i take it inside and suddenly want to listen to music. i check my whole bag for my iPod and finally remember where it was. i check the pocket that my iPod was in before and all thats in there is my headphones.. so i run over to him and ask him "did you take my iPod?" and he's like NOO man NOO i didn't!! now wtf am is supposed to believe?
