Not only did you manage to organize all of this, you allowed some incredibly skilled people to show what they got and do their damn well best (well, me at least).

Riding along with that train of thought, I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you putting all of this together. I wouldn't have my creativity sparked after a long, long, long time, write a 20 page script, get together some insanely awesome people and work on the greatest thing ever.

What you did was the catalyst for something wonderful that you could say changed my life. I got to meet very interesting people, develop my skills and learn a whole damn lot.

Renaenae, by organizing this collab, you are laying down the foundation of a whole new group to Newgrounds: the writers. I suck at drawing and animating (trust me, I've tried), but I can finally contribute something to Newgrounds with my writing. Where else could I go to have a story about a fish in a shoe brought to life? This could be the most epic collab to date; you're combining writers, artists, animators, musicians, and voice actors into one single piece. It's never been done on Newgrounds before. It's incredible! You're opening a door to all writers who can't draw have their work come to life. This is user of the year material! lol

Wrapping up? Wait... what? We're not nearly done D:! I know we should've been.. but... yeah, it's a lot :P. The script will have a few tweaks which shouldn't take a few hours, but art and musicwise... no.

there are a few stories that are seriously putting their all into it... maybe we shouldn't be so sticky about the deadline date? i've been personally thinking it was the END of march. not the 1st. unfortunately alot of these stories are grandiose and just need time with all the elements trying to come together.

As for fitting them into one file... no!! If your story is long enough to make it's own 'book', then it should be a separate submission. The idea was to have a BUNCH of movies... but because some stories are short, they would need to be grouped with one or two other short stories to avoid getting blammed.

If anyone isn't on 'the list', or notices anything that needs updating/fixing, please let me know!

oh naenae, don't laugh it off so easily when it sounds so good. seriously though, i'm SO RELIEVED its the end of march now like i thought. some good last minute stories have popped up too. it'd be great if others were updating with their progress on this board.... i've secluded myself to the guest room/office/laundry closet downstairs so i can stay focused and get work done.

Truth be told, I think what we need is the projects that are currently in development to get finished, rather than gathering up more submissions. Not to shut out anyone willing to participate, but I'm seeing a trend here of people getting all excited at first, but then dropping out for whatever reason.
Something which more than often plagues big collaborations, but even more so this one I feel.

Glad to see this is still alive, and hopefully with the push back more people can get their stories animated. I've been taking RNNR's advice and trying to climb the mountain of trying to get an illustrator for my stories but damn has it been difficult lol. Still nothing of mine on the working block but hopefully I can get that changed around! Hope everyone works hard and gets some good stuff out!
