GTA 1: London wasn't my favorite out of the series. It was just GTA 1, except in a different area with new missons, characters, etc.

Also i've heard Niko is an unlikeable character, and the city is just boring, being a clone of NYC. And besides, realism. At least it has online play and DLC.

Also, better graphics. I'm sorry, but the ones in Vice City and San Andreas were total shit. Even GTAIV doesn't go NEAR to the power of the PS3.

360 is DLC only so far. For the first 2 episodes.
Even then it's still boring.

acually, there was one worse than gta3, have you ever heard of hand theft auto? it's on the gba. the radios were melted down into looping sound effects, the characters were just clusters of blocks, and the game just took a big leap backward.

I've played through almost all of the GTA games. I've liked them all and have replayed them very much, except for IV. I bought GTA IV when it first came out. I was excited, if I remember correctly, there were no games that I felt I was going to play for the next two months and playing on the PlayStation was getting a bit old. I loved GTA IV when I was playing through it the first time.

However, the lack of activities to do, the customization that was in San Andreas, only a helicopter to fly, and not a single parachute to be used for skydiving. These ,and more, are the reason I did not play IV very long after I had completed it. You should play it if you have time, but rent it before you buy.

Yep me too brought a PS3 because I wanted to play the game it was such a letdown, I hated the lousy control system and the new options no criminal rating anyone?. It's a good game, but you don't get that GTA feel.
Take the "St. Anger" album, it's good, but it isn't Metallica.
The size of the map doesn't matter, that's one of the reasons why I hate San Andreas, the same with the costumization; "Kill-kill-kill-kill, oh wait, gotta go to the gym".

I think they just made the game to "real" and boring.
I loved the part of GTA where I could take a car a drive it into anything and create havoc, now I fly out of the window if I hit a cat.

shut up you were 9 when that came out! try out the original it's not even 3D but the dodo really did suck.

I was 4 when I first played GTA1, what's the big deal? I even remember my sister playing it. I still remember using swears for cheats, like BASTARD as your name would get you all guns, lots of money and a get out of jail free card. I think SHIT just got you the card. Anyway, I'd say the crappiest GTA was Vice City Stories. Complete disappointment to me.

SA was stupid gangster shit, i like the mafia story line much better.
VC is my favorite, and i like VCS for PSP because its portable GTA.
Only problem with VC was no swimming!!! thank god for CPU VC mods
