Apparently, if you concentrate hard enough on a particular thing, you will reach an altered state of conciousness. This altered state is said to be blissful, and Buddhists call it Nirvana. Is this true?
Naturally, since I am human, I would like to pursue this blissful state. But does it really take years of practise? I already have good concentration. I've tried concentrating solely on some music and nothing else, and for a moment I really wasn't aware of anything else. But it is extremely hard.
