Someone says "Hi" "Hello" "Hey" etc

How do you reply to them? If anyone says hi and the like to me I would usually say "Hello" back, then one of us would usually ask "How are you" the other replies "Ok" and then for me thats where most conversations end.

If someone greats you how does it normally go? You greating them? You telling them to fuck off? Ask for a kiss? Also does it change for some people like someone you fancy or hate or admire?

How do your greatings turn out?

I normally just say "well <name>". And a casual conversation ensues unless it's a close friend.

You come across someone you haven't seen in a while, so you kinda stuc on random topics to discuss.

So most of the time I try to create a conversation by just bringing up stuff from their interest (as far I know about them) or if I have nothing up my sleeve, I start talking about something which recently occurd to me worth talking about.

Isn't that how conversations work, tbh?

I never say the same greeting back to them as it feels awkward. Like if they say "hey" i'll have to say "hi or "hello" or "alright?"

Once we're past that i'll just do the standard hows it going?/hows things?/what you been up to?

I'm a fucking chatterbox. Usually, if I see someone I haven't talked to in a while and they say 'Hello', I respond with 'Hey, how have you been?' - then the conversation goes from there. I can talk about anything. If it's someone I see often I usually say 'Hey, what's up?' and then the conversation either ends there, or they tell me what's up.

If someone says 'hello' or 'hey' to me, I normally respond back with 'hey there'. From there I just say something like "how are you?" or "what's up?" to strike up some small talk. I'm not terribly good at starting up conversations, especially with new people or just people I hardly really know.

But hey, you gotta say something at least to prevent those really awkward silences.

Well, for certain occasions, i do different things.

If i am greeted by a nice fellow, and i am wearing a top hat and fake moustashe, i usually reply to their "Hello" with, "Good Morning/Day/Evening sir!", and tip my hat in a fine matter. Then, i continue to do a Charlie Chaplin dance until they go away.

If i am greeted by some guy, and i'm wearing a fur coat and a ruskie hat, i usually reply to their "hello" with "Eez about TIME you get 'ere, do you have zee papers?". When they say "No?", i slap them across the face and scream "GET ZEE PAPERS FOOL!", and storm away.

There are many more fun things that i do, but those are the most common.
