this file edits the registry to make your computer faster and stops un needed services running.
i couldnt get the internet to start so i got the .BAT for the default settings by going on another laptop and putting it on to a memory stick then onto this one because i couldn't acess the internet.
I ran the .BAT file and fixed everything and restarted it.
now my internet doesnt start i have to right click on the internet thing at the bottom and click diagnose and repair and then it says windows wireless service is not running click to fix then i do that then it works
but i have to do this everytime how do i fix it. :(
THE NO HAND TO HAND COMBAT COLLAB
IF I DONT REPLY ON IT IM NOT GONE IM ON NEWGROUNDS EVERYDAY JUST FORGET TO CHECK UP ON IT >:D
Start -> Run -> Services.msc
Find the Wireless Internet ones and reenable them.
You download a .bat file without opening it to see what it did claiming it would fix your computer, from an unknown site other than Microsoft.
You're fucked.

Acctually it isn't an unknown site and it doesn't fix your computer.
If you would just read the site first it clearly says " Have you messed up your services and want to get back to factory spec? Or do you want a way to play around with various configurations and be able to undo them if it doesn't work out? Well, look no further! Here are the default configuration Service configuration files for all versions of Vista, as well as files for the other configurations I display."
It just puts your registry back to factory defaults, and at the bottom of the page it does say use at your own risk, so if he has fucked his computer up then so be it!
Speeding up your PC by stopping unneeded services... Couldn't you have done that by hand instead of assuming that someone else's computer and needs are exactly the same as yours? Just saying, there's a lesson here that you shouldn't ignore.

If you wanted to speed up your PC by stopping unneeded services you should of asked these guys beforehand and they would tell you what to do step by step. Just for future reference or if you're still having problems you might as well get acquainted. Good luck. Late.
