On topic: As far as animated sigs go, tbh I'm not extremely disappointed by their retirement. I never really used them myself, and I didn't always particularly care for the majority of them. I do believe that an animated sig has the potential to be 10000x more funny, though, and that does make me sad :(

I only got to experience one Winter of animated Snowy sigs. They were damn awesome, and made the placw much more festivey than any Winter themed header can.
It really is a fucking shame that we can't have animated sigs, they were just hot.
