I get your point. Suicide bombers are not evil in any way. If an American soldier suicide bombed himself for his country he'd be praised as a hero. The enemy deserves the same respect.

When we think of suicide bombers, we think of people who tie a bomb to their chest, walk in the middle of a crowded street with innocent people, and blow everyone up. Not some heroic human who sacrificed his life for the sake of humanity.
The movie is Independence Day, right? The one where aliens come, almost destroy earth, and then humans manage to take one of the alien's ships, fly it into the mothership, set-off a virus or something etc..?

But he was doing it to protect the world from an alien invasion, and to seek revenge for his previous probing. That's a much more legitimate reason than "God told me to, and there's 70 virgins in it for me."
