Today's daily Wacom tablet winner is Julio Lopes, aka Fierras!

Fierras started out almost five years ago with this experimental piece featuring hand-drawn, scanned art:


He's been using a tablet for four years since, but that tablet is now worn out and he needs a new one to complete his master degree project.

Fierras has contributed a number of experimental pieces over the years:


But he has also participated in some popular collabs:


And he teamed up with TomaMoto to make Newgrounds Levels (love those staff pics):


Fierras' animation chops may best be demonstrated in his demo reel, and the ambitious Raccoonboy.


And just in the St. Nick of time, he posted his winter 2008 contest submission!

Fantastic, I've always loved Newgrounds Levels and how the pictures of NG staff were altered.
At that point I hadn't seen the real pictures much so I thought they were the official ones.

Wow, this is an awsome surprise. Tnx Tom and everybody here at NG. Eventough I don't make that much noise compared to other artists, I want you all to know to know that the NG community has always been something very special to me. I rarely post but I do check the site daily multiple time to see what everybody is cooking.

Thank you all for sharing your animations and games with me as well during all these years.

P.S. I think there is a page in the 'one shot' colab by Almighty Hans with one of my works.
