I dont think it has anything to do with the girls being bitchy and more about their typical behavior. Feel free to correct me, but I think that girls feel more willing to be "bitchy" when they are with their peers, where they can be influenced to talk privately, chat, etc. OFTEN but not always these groups will band together and exploit their others peers around them, whether they start false rumors or talk behind their backs or whatever. Other times, they will be casual, friendly and nice, aka not a complete bitch to others.

I think you are the latter, and they are the former.

Any way, BelgianDreamGirl will get over the fact her 'Friends' are trapping her in the spotlight. (Now to start talking TO her) They may have been gossiping about you and your ex for a long time before you found out. Love can easily distract you from what your friends are up to. I understand why you're shocked though, I'd be supprised aswell if all the people I knew as my friends would just suddenly turn their back on me for any old reason.
