You mean with a one liner at least every 5 minutes? I watched Goldeneye not long after seeing Quantum of Solace and the difference is so striking. You can tell they wanted to go in a new direction and I agree that it should have been taken because the Brosnan movies were getting too ridiculous even for Bond films. I like the new movies because they break from the norm and are still entertaining. It's more serious and it's also a direct continuous series which I found to be refreshing. I hear more whining about these movies than anything and while the complaints are valid, I can't help but just think that it's a reaction to the films not doing what they always do of having gadgets and witty one liners.

The ice hotel actually does exist. My sister stayed there this year. It melts every summer and they rebuild it in the winter.

But I do agree with you with the tidal waves shit. They went WAY overboard with the CGI in that flick, they said themselves in the 'making of' that it was the first bond movie that they hadn't actually filmed the stunts as they happened in real life.

Craig is a good Bond. Just has had some crap films.
Brosnan was an ok Bond. But his films were good.
