Ever get in one of those moods where you just tell yourself, "I'll do the work tomorrow".
yes, it's called procrastination. This usually happens to all the subjects I don't care for, like art history. Essay every week which I put off till the last minute, literally: Rhetoric ends at 10, I go to the computer lab and type like I'm on crack, and at 12 I hand it in. Drawing class, however, I work my ass off on all the projects because I actually have fun doing it.
Well I find that if I dislike the subject then I won't do it until last minute and if I like the subject I still won't do it until last minute. The only difference between the two is that while working on this subject that I do like I can work very fluently and get stuff done quickly. Doing work that I don't like is long and strung out. I like to take a lot of breaks doing that.

I have that mood sometimes. You need to try to break away from that habit or it can be come continuous habit. What I do is make a list of what I need to do on a sticky note. Then I plan to have a time management objective to finish whatever is needed to be done.
See I do the little sticky notes thing and everything. I make To Do lists... I just never get them done. I notice that at the beginning of the semester I'm usually like this and at the end I'm much better at working.
Also, on another note I just got my scores back for the Praxis exams. I had to take a 1-2 hour test in writing, reading, and math. The cost 50 dollars each to take, but I need to take them for my major. If you fail you have to pay the price to take them again so I'm really happy that I passed.
I ended up passing the math and reading with almost perfect scores and the writing one I actually failed by 1 point. They luckily have a scoring system where if you fail one they will take your combined scores to see if you have a passing score that way. Since I did so well in the other two subjects I passed by my combined score. (The one I failed, I just missed by 1 point anyway)
