The gamespot that is near my house has some really nice employees and I have never witnessed them snap or make any rude comments about anyone of there customers.

It's a good thing that you ended up reporting them, I hate it when people make do shit like that it pisses me off, even if Tomas wasn't handicapped they still should have been considerate to him a bunch of pricks they are.

Update extravaganza!!

I received an email today from the regional office around here. They asked me to tell them when it would be best for them to contact me because they'd like to have a phone conference with me on exactly what happened.

So tomorrow by 8:00 eastern I have the resolution of this story.

Good for you, SHIT-TANK. I never have problems with with the Game Stop in my area, but I'm lucky I have a Game Crazy to fall back on if I ever do.
Game Crazies are little "stores within a store" at some HollyWood Videos, if you haven't seen one. They always have a fine selection and the staff is made up of entirely friendly nerds, so service is great.

the "worst" if that's really the word to use here, thing my gamestop employees have done is constantly ask if i need anything...like every worker there kept walking by, "you need some help?"
multiplied by about fifteen, it's pretty annoying...

It's not the post counts,
It's the posts that count...

Okay so sorry for the late post, I had some things to attend to.

So here's what happened.

So the RM calls me and asks me to describe exactly what happened. I told him word for word, and yes I even told him about taking the bribe. The RM said that the bribe was irrelevant and is actually part of company policy when dealing with situations like this.

He said that the employee was not seasonal help and will be mandated to write a formal apology to Tomas and if he does not comply he will be fired. Also Tomas is getting a $500 gift card.

Yay justice!

I forgot about a GameStop story.

So one of my best buds, he's 18 works there. And since we're cool he let me work behind the counter and get his pay for the 2 hours I'd work. And this hot girl who works with him to keep me company.

So some douches I know come in the store and start fucking around. I call security and they come within 2 minutes and ask me what's the problem. I tell them the dicks are fucking around and to escort them out but then I see them trying to take GameStop gift cards.

I asked them what are they doing, and they replied that " These'll give us lots of money right? "
I said no, mainly because they had no value and they thought they had money in them so I said " sure knock yourselves out ".

I told them they'd have to pay a fine for walking out with the cards without paying for them, they put them back and I told them to get the fuck out. The security made sure of it.

Also got 20 dollars, Resistance 2, and a kiss from the GameStop worker girl.

If I were you I would probably advise Thomas not to go to the same Gamestop to avoid any harmful/awkward situations.

Woah. Hearing all these Gamestop horror stories almost makes me feel glad I live over +2000km from one. Elitist pricks, just because someone doesn't know as much about vidjama games and the likes as them, they think they can publicly bash the customers.

They didn't apologize idiot, they pleaded for him not to report them for being assholes by bribing him.

My gamestop is fifty-times worse than that.

They're all prejudice Indians (Seriously, no offense to any Indians here) that always speak a different language like Mandarin or Spanish (for some reason) so that we Americans don't figure it out. They apparently called us, "Fucking mentally retarded people, I stick my **** in his mom's--" And so on.

Now I'm trying hard not to seem prejudice. But I too just wanted to buy L4D and was literally rejected by them for not knowing Spanish or whatever the fuck they were speaking. So I went back today and did exactly what you did, and they ran.

If you ever want to shut the Gamestop corperation up, just mention Regional Manager. They run like hell, and literally did into the backroom for 30 minutes. I'm gonna see if they get fired.

The employees at my local EBGames are great. A little while ago I walked and the place was empty -- one employee behind the desk and no other customers. After a quick scan of the PS2 shelf, I asked if they had a copy of MGS2: Substance. The guy actually went through the entire 'used' bin personally. They only had the original version, not Substance, but it was cheaper than I expected and the guy did go to all that work finding it, so I ended up buying it.
