Today's Wacom tablet winner is YungJazz! YungJazz is best known for his Necropolis series, which has evolved on NG over the past three years. His submissions have gone through a few name changes during that time, so the story has occasionally been difficult to follow. For example, what was once Nightgun is now DevilSlayer V, and while most of the episodes are now called DevilSlayer, it all falls under the Necropolis header. The series page will help get your head around it once and for all. Here is the main spread:
Some other fun submissions by YJ include:
YungJazz has an ambitious schedule ahead of him, with a lot of plans for future movies. He is currently looking for voice actors. I've seen lots of cool concept art splashed across his blog posts over the past few months, so I know this Wacom tablet will be put to good use, if not worn out completely within six months. We'll all be watching to see how the story progresses and maybe YungJazz will be "the next big thing" of 2009!
I'll be posting every day from now until Christmas Eve, with daily Wacom winners and other assorted news.
There are only eight 2009 CALENDARS left in the store and we aren't planning to print another run. Today is probably your last chance to get one.
Check out these other Wacom winners:
The creator of Evil Slayer and Necropolis you say?
That's a good pick as well, so he probably deserves it.
Congratulations YungJazz! Hope you use your new tablet well!
Also, I hate people just posting to get near Tom (first post people) just saying "gratz" or "Congratz to the winner!" Take some time and at least say the winners name
Current Projects: (animation will start after Christmas when I get a Bamboo Fun)
ToddToons EP1 Technologically Assisted
Living the Life EP1 (written by Luke Goodwin)
I haven't really seen his stuff but I'll be sure to check it out.
You live on such a tiny island, at least Gilligan explored his! You're just drawing a tiny circle around your mud hut and saying everything outside it is totally gay.
Ooh, I know that YungJazz is a good aritist. Good for him!

Congrats YungJazz, I think youre on the right track finally, you are straying from planning so large. Animation should be fun and not a chore, sounds cliche but its easy to think so large that it becomes a mindfuck rather than something tangible and realistic.
Dooood, gratz! Hopefully it will help make some sick graphics for our game.
A Small Favor, the alien assassin adventure, is getting a 2013 reboot, as long as we hit our Kickstarter goal.
ClickShake Games - Adventure games by Zeebarf & EntropicOrder
that's wassup! Thanks guys! I will put it to good use, that's for damn sure. =)
And I know what you mean, Luis. Thinking too big and rushing is not a good combination for me, I don't want my love of animating to get worn out because of that.
His animation style is sick, he really deserves a tablet! I'm going to watch some more of his animations.

Ha, I plan too large myself. Sounds like I could learn a lot from you Luis :P
I'd say he is so far the most deserving of receiving a tablet, I am not saying that everyone else doesn't deserve it, but he has been a unrated flash artist for quite sometime and really does deserve this tablet. Great Choice and congratulations Yung!
