My parents both claim to have seen a UFO one night when they were younger and they were walking home through a field (no they hadn't been drinking). I know they wouldn't lie about such a thing, so yes I do believe in UFOs and aliens.

FTL propulsion is not possible as it stands right now... so there are no aliens... unless they are like in ID4, a nomadic type of them bent on killing us all for our resources...

not believing in aliens is almost as retarded as believing that for some reason aliens would randomly visit this planet for no particular reason at all except to appear in their ships in front of people with shitty cameras.

I saw a UFO once outisde the window of my geography class last year. It looked flat in shape and moved kind of in a stop / start motion constantly and went in no clear direction constantly repeating itself, by the time I got someone to look as no one cared it had left the view of the window. It could have just been me seeing things as I do day dream and things a lot but it seemed real. It could have been anything though like the name says "Unidentified" not necissarily alien.

I do believe in life on another planet. The universe is to big for there only to be life on earth. However, most people are fooled by UFOs, most UFOs are meteoroids burning up in the earth's atmosphere at night and most of the time when the phrase UFO is thrown around, people think aliens.

it's completely naive to think we're the only ones in this universe. about them visiting earth however, i'm not sure. any pic of an alien on foot is almost certainly false. they have an FTL drive, but they're stupid enough to get caught on camera? i doubt it. pics of flying saucers and whatnot, some of those might be real...

I think it's quite a level argument. There isn't enough evidence to leap to conclusions, though there's enough evidence to say that it isn't complete shit. We don't know what's out there, and I don't think it's in our power, as humans, to know.

It's illogical for them not to be real. If space really is endless than it's IMPOSSIBLE for earth to be the only planet sustainable of life in the universe. I don't, however, believe that aliens have visited us nor the fact that they look like humans. The probably aren't even intelligent.
