Most of you audio-guys have probably already seen Tom's newspost about the Rock Out Flash contest!

If not, you should go check it out a.s.a.p!!!

This thread is where you can whor... I mean promote your own existing (and perhaps newly submitted) audio for the contest, in hopes that flash authors will find Your audio, love it, use it in their game, be amongst the top 10, and help you gain the sweet sweet 500$!!!

A few rules must be followed if you intend posting in this thread;

- Maximum five of your best fitting songs.
- Quick descriptioin of what kind of audio(s) you are promoting.
- Link to your audio page.
- NO chit-chat. This will be a list to make it as easy as possible for the flash artists to find audio for their games.
- Failure to follow these rules will be awarded with a post deletion.

Here are what I promote from my audiopage;

Yours Truly! - Dance-trance-techno endaveour, have a touch of "happy videogame" sound to it.

DirtySpaceboy - Experimental IDM, rather space-game sounding.

Schiz - Trance style. Rather slow-starting, and slightly epic-sounding.

EmoBitch (NoVox) - DnB, rather dark and fast, of course. NOTE; will not stream, must be downloaded.

The Open - Experimental IDM, pretty weird techno-thing...

And there's more where those came from, but some bastard said only five songs could be promoted in this thread :) Also, if anyone would want edited versions of these tracks (or other), send me a PM and I'll see what I can do.

Damn, I don't think many of my songs fit that kind of 'stepping' games... so I'll just whore two

Walking Through Time
Somewhat slow, easy- not much to say, just listen to it

Carol of The Bells (my version not theirs)
That christmas song- but it's a mix between electronica and classical- no really I don't know wtf to say just go listen to it

wait, who am I fooling just go to my audio page and see if there's anything you could use (if you need airy or sometimes minimalist ambience)

This is pretty wicked.
5 songs, eh? Sweet.

1) Dementia is an aggressive metal melodic tune. Full song not here due to file size limitations.

2) Drums of DEATH!!!!!!!!! Another melodic metal tune with a bit of drudgyness and great drums.

3) Calmed by Chaos is a short relaxing melodic metal tune.

4) There is Darkness . Another mellow metal/ambient tune all about darkness.

5) A Place of Misery is a song with vocals, but can easily be removed or even customized!

Hope you find something you like.

Robot Army--_-- - A solid and thick DnB track. Short and sweet.

Black Noise--_-- - A great trance track, awesome for DDR type games.

Black Xenon--_-- - Also a very nice trance track. Shorter than Black Noise though.

The Attic--_-- - A pounding 3 step trance/dance track; decently short.

Odylic Force--_-- - A powerful trance track with screeching superstrings at the ending.

Well, I only have a few of tunes that would really be able to fit. These are the only ones I can think of right now.

Mighty Tankmen -A short metal track, somewhat power-metalish, has decent rhythm and a nice tempo.

_Destruction_ -A heavy tune, not too long and pretty fitting for a rhythm game. jmtb02 used it in his Knights Of Rock game after all. The badass rhythm guitar was done by DarKsidE555.

When The Light's Go Out -Another metal tune, though this one is different from the other two. It's about 3:30 long and has vocals by Bad-man-incorporated. I think it would be pretty good for a rhythm game. It has a few calm acoustic sections and a bitchin' solo.

1:The factory gates -Exellent techno pice , varied and clear.
2:Insanity -very trippy techno very progressive.
3:Technoid-return to power -good paced techno lots of clear synths and FX.
4:This point is not the end -awesome trance, progressive very clear
5: Man against Machine -freaking awsome fast paced action style track that loops very well.

In a Safe Place - Could be swell for background music, in a calm area.

Okestreh - A moody sounding Orchestral piece. Sort of sad sounding.

We Have a Problem - A spacey sounding Ambient tune

Lunar - Another spacey ambient tune, but this is a little more mellow

Soul Destruction -loop- - A loungey loop with rhodes and acoustic bass.

Well those are my Advertisments

Response to Rock Out Audio Advertisement. 2007-05-08 18:28:41

Ok heres mine

Para-Noid Malfuntion- a shorter verison of the full but in loopish form.

Para-noid vs Bleek989 - collab by Bleek989 and me, turned out pretty good.

Para-Noid Gotta Move- classic, well hip-hop but a soon to be classic

i like this, songs I think could be good:
Cotton Field Blues Not Bluesy (although the name begs to differ) trippy melodic guitar stuff.

Handgun in a Cradle Heavy Metal, just guitar no drums or bass or anything

The Art of Drowning cool short little song.

Alien Country Music on Acid super trippy sounding bizzare stuff

if you need modifacations/improvements done to these songs or any of the other ones on my audio page that you want to use just let me know.

Response to Rock Out Audio Advertisement. 2007-05-09 06:59:48

!!!

1) Latent Pleasure It starts out slow, but believe me, it gets really groove like when the guitars come in.

2) Pyramids Listen to the rhythem! For god sakes, this song just wants you to move!!

3) Buttons Just making the song required mashing buttons, imagine the posibilities!

4) Rage Not one of my more favorite songs, but it deffinatly has some fun rhythem.

5) My favorite song at the moment. The intro is long, so i'm not sure if it would make a good song or not, but...I love it :(

I'm a bit late, but...

Operation: Delve Zero - Dark trance. Its really spooky. It has a long intro, you might want to cut it,
but overall it is a good song.

Blurriness - Its a good song, not my best, but it is really nice. Its trance and has some nice melodies.

Tranquility - The title is deceiving. It is actually not very tranquil, it just sounds nice.

Awesome Os - Fo Shipple!11!1 - It started out as a joke, but people liked it, I don't know why!

USE THIS IN A CONTEST GAME plz - The title explains it all.

My music page-http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/view.php ?id=1639117&sub=68143

Top five songs:
1. War- Very Dark and heavy melodic sound to it. One of my favorites.
2. Rage- A death metal video gam-esque to it but alot of killer lead work.
3.-Brain Damage-Another one of my favorites its pretty brutal alot of chunky guitar riffage along with melodic leads to mess you up mentally.
4.Soundscape skies-A total mellow rocking tune with a hint of Satriani in it. :)
5Beyond- as my band memebers tell me it sounds like f zero so I'll leave it at that.

Clit Hornet Twat Holocaust

A small metal track with some decently complex riffs, which I think would lend well to keyboard button mashing ;D

Response to Rock Out Audio Advertisement. 2007-05-12 14:39:07

Ghosts in the machine
Kind of a heavy-type song Dont really know what to say about it

Fahrenheit
Ravish type song, someone has already stepped it for FFR, so it should be good.

Celsius

A happier song, has a little bit of trance to it.

Nameless
Was before I had my new drum packs so the drums are a little weak, but it's still pretty catchy

Chaos Sphere (edit) Heavier song again... Starts out kind of quiet, then "powers up" I guess are the words.

1:_-={Blood Fields}=-_
+ An intro is present before an angry sweep into the core melody. I think it would make a pretty neat "dancing" tune :D, has a noble, driving epic segment near the end
2:_-={Victorious Day}=-_
+ A stable, consistent driving piece, loopable if that is desired..
3:_-={These Angels of War}=-_
+ A steady and choir filled percussional driven battle piece. Has a short, steady intro to allow time to sink into the piece before starting anything, a more diverse ethnical piece.
4:_-={Spread of Chaos}=-_
+ A booming epic piece. Much more bass oriented, and energy levels more focused on "journey" and "battle" epic.
5:_-={The Tanks Thunder}=-_
+ Easily one of my best, and most inspired pieces. Has a very tribal, noble spirit flare to it. A little shorter, but allows for "sink in" time, or in short, has a short segment where nothing much is happening before jumping full force!

Hello!
Here i am to promote my 5 favourite songs.

Urban Color - A lot of guitar, jazzy and clean tune.

http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/view.php?id=1 490098&sub=44224

Background for menu - as the title says, i think it could work great for intro or menu background. Funky base with rock guitar on it, melodic but aggressive, really groovy.

http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/view.php?id=1 490098&sub=81952

VideogamerZ Ost - This was written for a flash movie that have never been released.
Good and simple rock intro (30 sec).

http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/view.php?id=1 490098&sub=61167

(making love) Till Dawn

Guitar, rock and little bit of fusion in a Pink-Floyd style song. This is a slow rock ballad.

http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/view.php?id=1 490098&sub=46969

And finally what about this D&B with piano and choirs?

Alright, here's two that should be worthy.

Shanghai Paragon-DnB classical piece matched at 170 bpm. Made to fit the DnB used in the more modern DDR games for home use. Top recommendation.

Machines Will Fall-Industrial (ImperfectDisciple style anyhow). The most downloaded song on my page with over 700! An easy to groove to song and addictive with its wide range of sound fx and overall good music.

-In slight recommendations, my classical music has been used in a rhythm game, very predictable, so it's good for easier levels.

-Please enjoy, thanks for reading this.

-ImperfectDisciple

Epic Orchestra - An epic orchestra. My most popular song from here to YouTube, for some reason. There's a sequel also, check out the high-quality version on my site.

Deep Thought - A neat little loop I made entirely with free software. It kicks your bum.

Mindless Adventure - A loop. Good driving, playing, or bouncing-through-the-forest-with-your-buddies music.

Standardized - A looping song, it'd be great for a shooter game. Inspired in part by "Lar's Adventure" and a song from SyTeQ.

Nebula - You're floating through space, with not a care in the universe...an ambient track.

Pills - erm... ummm... it's house :)
Gimme Da Beet - a dance song with some vocals in it...
Energy Streem - kinda experimental techno track :)
Nice Girl - that's one old liquid funk track, but still sounds good... it's kinda High Contrast style
Calabi RMX - breakbeat track with great main melody

: it's not ordered by quality ;)

Njoy;-]

Response to Rock Out Audio Advertisement. 2007-05-19 21:58:49

Intensifying Insanity - A pretty short fast paced song, with a lot of low octave to high octave notes.

Melody of the Wicked - A slow kinda creepy melodic piece, speeds up towards the end.

Cower In Fear - Low tuned song, slow at the start, then speeds up.

Not sure if any of my other songs would really be fit for those kind of games or not.
