This is the chronicles of what happened to me at about 4:00 today. With pictures!
The day started out well. No work, no school, had the whole day to myself. So, after sleeping until 3 in the afternoon, I decided to get some breakfast. That is where all my trouble started. But I'll get to that in a second.
So, as i'm eating, I look at my calandar, and I see that it's...October! Now, normally this wouldn't bother me, if it wasn't my special digital calandar, which i've always known to be right. So, I don't know if it was the early morning or the last-night partying hangover kicking in, but I was in the FUTURE.
So, to save you guys from the boring crap, I got in to the BBS. First thing I noticed was that it seemed Tom finally broke down and put a Writing Forum into play. Well done, Tom. Not really interested in that, I went to the BBS and did what I always do after i'm gone for awhile: check out the new mods! There were some new faces on the BBS, but the only real new mod I could see was Fyndir.
Not waiting a minute, I quickly made a topic! It was entitled "Hey, Newgrounds?" and at first it didn't get much attention. But, as always, a familiar face decided to stop by and explain things to me. (Don't ask about the post count. At first it counted and then it didn't...it just gives me a fucking headache to try to understand.)
Was this for serious? Was AshfordPride truthing? Bonus got deleted? Somebody on the BBS actually thought I was dead? Only one way to find out...Wonder Twin Powers, Form of: SEARCHBAR!
Yep, I was afraid of this. BonusStage thought I was dead. And, of course, bigbadron came into the picture and killed his topic.
Well, as this was all well and good, I finally realized that I was still in the present, all the technological things were in the future. So, not knowing if this was temporary or permanent, I decided to peruse the Writing forum, see what that was like.
In all honesty, people, it's fucking boring.
So, at this point, i'm fucking thirsty. I go into the kitchen to grab myself a Coke, when the lights flicker for a bit. Once they're done, I notice the calandar now says i'm back in the present.
With a sinking feeling in my stomach (either cold realization or warm Coke. Your choice.), I went back into my room, and the computer...was back to normal. The windows were closed, my image files were stll there, and a new .txt file was there.
So, long story short, I got my ass punk'd by some dude named The Temporal Trickster.
And that's what I did with my day.
