heres the idea:
we get 10 people to sign up
the first person will create a basic beat/tune and everyone after will have 8-16 measures to add on their own style. you must try to keep the original tune though
i will go some where in the middle (because i feel like it)

Oh what the heck, sure! But, what if we are using refills and files that the other volunteers dont have? Becuase if I am to share my reason file with the others, there will be this popup saying "file not found" or "Waiting for refill CD".
Should we use other refills? Or can we just sample tracks together with a mixing program? I realy wont to use most of my good resources for this collab. (The refills that came with Reason arent realy much to use.)

unfortunately refills are copyrighted do we cant share samples or patches. the easiest thing to do would to stick to free samples/patches that can be shared. but since that isn't likely we can mix it down if necessary
id like to have everything flow into the next piece. one idea i have to avoid mixing is to have every person end their segment the way the first person ends the basic segment. it would make it easier for everyone to make their piece while avoiding complex mixing. everyone could then send me a wave file which i can easily mix together.
the first person will have to make a rns file made with samples/patches that either come with reason or are not copyrighted
if theres any better ideas please post them

Set the song self contain settings to contain all refills.
Then save a ublished file to the next person.

The sampler is realy only good with a couple seconds of audio. To combine them all using a sampler would be stupid.

i meant there are refills for the sampler. but i have sonar 4 to mix everything.

some people were having problems wit the rns file. thats b/c you need a wav file that was in the first zip file i posted

this is my last bump. it seams interest for this is declining. if this thread dies again i'm going to PM some people asking if they want to finish this. and if that doest work i'm going o get a friend to make and ending and post it up (after getting permission from everyone else who worked on this)

I think I'd like to... but... I don't have Reason on my computer yet after reformatting my hard drive <.< I'll have to reinstall it, and then listen to what you guys have so far ^^
