Make A Ng Banner Contest

You may have read this thread and noticed the news post about it.

The idea was to design a NG 88x31 Affiliate Banner. There were a load of great entrys but they were all sze 88x31 (since that was the competition specs) However, i have noticed that a lot of people are looking for 468x60 banners and so this is a competition making them.

Hopefully Tom will take intrest and showcase your banners on the site.
Theres no deadline yet, it will be set soon enough when we have a few entries.

In short you basically have to design a 468x60 banner that people can link to newgrounds with. This contest will be run very similaly to the other one mentioned above. Hopefully we will see some good quality entries.

Yes and no... i might use one on my site, but i did a quick search and saw quite a few topics asking for NG Banners to link with on there sites.

I'm almost finished with the banner I'm making, but I was just wondering if this was enough for the banner.

Due to silly technical difficulties it'll look bigger than it's supposed to look like, plus it'll lag a little.

Remember btw (i dont think i mentioned this) it needs to be in image format (gif jpg png etc)

No, not yet.
Ill email Tom later today but i doubt he will have any complaints against it.

did you e-mail Tom, or at least another admin or mod?

you need to post requirements
- file size (kb)
- formats (gif, swf etc.)

you need to say what you are basically looking for

take into account that SMC may have been planning this, did you get his permission?

some people need to know what you are talking about

file size is up to you (only try not to go to crazy) formats are .gif .jpg .png preffered but i suppose .swf could be allowed

These are image banners !
You can use photoshop flash fireworks or whatever.

bigexplosions, it needs some work but the background is truly awesome, you just need to fix it up a bit, make the text clearer, put the tank somewhere else

it's already close to being a clear winner

I think maybe you should remake this topic once you've sorted out all the details.
It's a bit of a mess currently. Put a bit more thought and structure into your first post, lay down some clearer rules and guidelines.

I also think that if you want to make this an 'official' contest, you should consult with Tom beforehand, rather than starting it and then expecting him to jump on board
