Yeah, Crazy Monkey Games is one of the ones that'll give you a boatload of money if your game is very high quality, like yours. You can definitely tell you spend a lot of time on it, and it payed off. Literally :P. Loved it by the way.

I have a few smaller games I'm trying to get sponsored right now. I'm currently working on two higher quality projects which, hopefully, will garner as much money as the big guys get. Here's hoping.

Alright, got my first game sponsored. Here goes:

Arcade Cabin +++ & 1/2
Game sponsored was Pyrotec 2

After contacting several sponsors Arcade Cabin gave me the best offer of the bunch. After about a week of exchanging emails with Ralph, the owner, we got everything worked out, payment and all.

Seriousness +++
He knew what he wanted and wasn't afraid to ask for it, but never came off as strict or demanding. A fairly easy-going guy.

Money ++++
Good, but not spectacular. For the amount of work put into the game I couldn't really get much better than what he offered.

Efficiency ++++
This category is a bit of a problem for me since I'm currently going to school in Australia and the time difference made it hard for a hasty reply. Had I been back at home in the US, though, I'm certain his replies would have occurred in a more timely manner.

Social +++
Pretty much all talk was business, though he seemed like the kind of guy you could chat with about pretty much anything.

The biggest problem I had was with the amount of links he wanted in the game. If you'll notice I have a preloader, intro, and links plastered all over. That seems a bit much, which is why they get a 3 1/2 instead of 4.

Hope this helps.

How much money does a typical game get? I received a reply from Armor Games and he's asking how much I want for the sponsorship, and honestly I have no idea...

Oh yeah, I wanted to ask: Do sites not sponsor games with copyrighted content such as music? Also, if I've used music from the Newgrounds Audio Portal, do I need permission from the artists?

Just wanted to say thank you for making this thread. I've been hazy with the whole Sponsorship business and this thread answered a lot of my questions. I'll be emailing the sites you guys have recommended and I'll post any of my experiences here.

I've been making Flash games for years, but I've never considered sponsorship. I really don't know any details about it. For those of you who've been sponsored, what's it like? It is a lengthy process? Does it pay? Are there any strings attached? Any information will be helpful.

This sounds like an awesome idea. I have some questions for game makers, and would be interested in chatting if there are any fans of mine...not sure how many people have played Virtual Keyboard or Sparks ...

Is there a way to delete one of your submissions, or is it on there permanently?
