Eric Goldberg would definitely be a favorite of mine too.. him and James Baxter are two Disney animators that really stand out IMO.
Here's 20 minutes I'll never get back..
Mmmk.. I started animating this little clip from Pulp Fiction. It's nothing special, just practice :)
It's running at 6fps for the most part.. if I were to do all the in-betweens I'm sure the lip-sync would look much better.
Animation_Clip <-- please critique :D
I'm considering picking up some animation books.. this is kinda fun.

This is just plain awesome.
Hirschfeld was definitely the first thing to come to mind.
Hmm.. trying out some storyboarding-type-thing..
Should I try to animate this or does it look too weird?
Story-Board: Does he look like a bitch?

How do I export higher quality gifs and faster framerates? It seems to be stuck at this FPS. :/
WHOOPS
Here's to me forgetting that it plays at the correct framerate in a browser :D

Yeah, for the head-turns I imagined there were other characters around the speaker.. it's tough to set a character alone in the middle of a scene and have anyone know what's going on.
I was mostly trying to get the right mouth shapes.. I found a tutorial online with a lot of em'.. so I was just testing that out.
Here's a quickie.
He is supposed to be holding a sack over his shoulder.. didn't turn out right :/
Here is some short test animations I did last week. This was my first time animating anything in years, I think. Didn't take too long either...
I have forgotten how much fun it can be.
I'm gonna go animate something else, brb.
I'm your huckleberry.
You're all nuts.
Katatafisch's drawing is an incredible piece of artwork, however jagondudo's submission is probably the best I've seen in any COW so far.
My vote is for jagondudo.

I like the planet texture in this. Very cool stuff.
Here's mine. Probably coulda spent more time on it but it's getting late :/
Vylent
Cuz it looks cool and it's big and stuff.
Very nice stuff. I really like the first two drawings =D
Wow man, awesome shading.
The Scar one looks great!
And finally, here is a picture I spent a little more time on. I really had fun painting for once with this one.
.. now I'm going to bed.
Here are a couple images where I got kinda distracted 1/2 way through.
I couldn't get the face right on the either of them.
Oh wow.. I haven't visited these forums in almost a year. I'm surprised this thread has not sunk into the oblivion (maybe it did). And these images all seem so old now, I really hope I've gotten better since.

I've flipped your original and attached it... see if you can spot what I mean...
Thx for the advice. I've actually used similar methods a few times with this picture and others: flipping it, zooming in and out, looking at it through a mirror. I didn't see anything wrong then, but now with a completely different perspective it looks awful. Thank you for pointing that out. XD
And I really wish more people would try those techniques before arguing with criticism of their work, because sometimes it just isn't right and you can't see it.
Anyway, I think I'll share a little practice I've done recently to see how I've improved. Maybe if I start posting stuff here again you guys will help keep me motivated. I haven't been drawing much since classes started and my tablet's all dusty. I'll try to change that ASAP.
I started practicing with boxing photos to work on figures, faces, lighting, skin tones, etc.
BTW, I totally appreciate all the comments posted about my stuff =D

Bulent's Screen Recorder. I didn't know it put their logo in the corner before I started recording.

Yeah, It wouldn't be too easy without one.
I recorded a video of myself painting in Photoshop and put it on youtube. Took about 3-4 hours with a reference, the actress is Shu Qi, from The Transporter.
I used my real name in the credits since I'm showing it to friends and family.
