Well they didn't seem to care when they copied off Nintendo with the Six Axis and Microsoft with the guide button in the middle so I don't see why they would stop at achievements/trophies.

They didnt copy ffs, thats been said so many times, Sixaxis is completely different to the Wiimote, its used in a different manner and is more often then not optional in games. The home button was Sonys first, they had it in the PSP first which was released in 2004, whereas the 360 was released in 2005

I'm not sure. Sony was new to the whole online game. But so was Nintendo so there really is no excuse. The president of the Playstation department or whatever came out and admitted that they too were worried about the PS3 failing during 2007 due to a real rough start recentaly.
