abstract, by definition, follows no shape or pattern.

so basically like most of the stuff posted wasnt abstract.

its hard to say that something is good when pretty much none of the characters are your own..

but yeah i did this painting the other day and im gonna change the theme here a tad by using colour over lines to try and show a good face. i dunno.

for anyone who cares:
luis, neg, mogly and vondark all arrived to luis' flats today. I met them around half 4 and we sat there for a bit just having a laugh and making jokes about the funny eastern europian porn that the satelite picked up.
we then made a move towards clapham and the restaurant we planned to go to, but couldnt remember where it was so we kinda roamed around for 20 mins trying to find it. eventually we did, and it turns out we passed it cause the sign was turned the other way (pathetic excuse)
in the restaurant we met with super flash bro tom, krin and deltaluca and had some good ol' japanese food. neg couldnt use chopstick and therefore had to ask for a fork (just asking for a ban now) and it was pretty tasty.
pretty much everyone then made their way back to luis' humble abode to meet luksy, but me and krin went home.
pretty fun day, see you guys saturday

no way! youve started it may aswell finish it! i mean i wasnt saying it had major faults, just a few notches here and there. i think you blurred it too much around the primerily focused domino, and the outer ones seem too out of focus. but apart from that, the picture is rather impressive.

i think what you could maybe try next time vector photorealism- if you could re create this piece or make another similar to this in flash, and believe me ive seen this been done, then you could get a really stunning vector piece for your portfolio

i just got my new prakitika bx20 from ebay, its a gorgeous optical camera from at least like 20 years old, considering its tagged as being made in the German Democratic Republic.
it was only 30 quid inc P&P so it was more than worth it. its really awesome.

anyone else use film cameras still?

they look very effortless. the first ones ok, but the otehrs look kinda rushed and not touched up. the shadings a bit weird too maybe you should look into making it look smoother with the alignment of the face.
otehr than that, a pretty good start.
