Sure, some people are indifferent about politics. They contribute almost nothing to America. But then there are the people who actually do care. People who do something for there nation. These are the smart people. The lazy idiots do nothing, while the intelligent people keep America in check. There are enough caring people to maintain America. America is not in shambles. We still have a working economy, a government that is able to manage the nation and freedom. The USA has issues, but so doesn't every nation. The US was never perfect of "paved with gold." The type of person you mention is a minority. Some people don't care about the war. Most people do.

Communism is too vulnurable to corruption. It gives leaders lots of power. If someone has a lot of power, they probably dont want to give it up. Communism is vulnurable to dictatorships and totalitarianism. The Soviet Union collapsed on itself due to its inability to support itself economically.

The second ammendment was created by our founding fathers for national defense. In the revolutionary war, the majority of the army was fighting the British in New England. Meanwhile, General Cornwallis was invading near the Carolinas. Only a few hundred soldiers were there. The people of South Carolina got what weapons they had and drove off the British. The American Revolution was won because of armed militiamen. Congress, afraid if something like this happened again, and the majority of the army was too far away to respond in time, passed the second ammendment to allow people to possess guns in case of such an emergency. This helped in the war of 1812. That is why the second ammendment was created.

Defend. It's not because it's a christian holy land according to the bible. It's the willingness of the Israelis to defend it. They won a war in six days. They were outnumbered three to one. They fought of several armies in SIX DAYS. They are willing to defend it to the death.

If terrorists would try to make an reasonable agreement and stop attacking Israel, the defences might not be so strict. That will probably never happen, but the walls are necessary to protect it's borders from threats. It's not by any means to deprive palestinians. The Israelis don't hate them, they want peace. Border defences are for protection, not deprivation.

What are your answers to those questions?

Ignore the Mcdonald's thing. I was using it as example to explain how something so simple is made in to a big deal. It's not the fact of the man having to pay child support. It's the message within.
