This was a reply to a post about updating the user profiles. But I thought I'd post it in its own topic because it surpasses any other replies in said topic. If you don't like it, suck a douch.

Right I'd like to see the profile in the main window, no more pop-up. This means more room for information and should look a bit better with the updated layout and less cramped.

Relevent information

At the top, regarding the usual;
Name / Alias
Website
E-mail
Age
Hometown
Sign-up date

There should be more character space for the personal message. I'm thinking for people who actually submit content (more than two movies? or moview views) they can have more characters to elaborate on themselves. Tthe fav music/ film / other flash could be just below.

Users movies / Audio

Instead of having the movies / audio of a user in a scrolling box they should have their own table with the 46 x 46 screen grab image, movie description with content rating, no of views and placing in the portal. It would look alot like the movie search results but more refined.
The movies should be placed in chronological order. Obviously some useres are going to have a lot of movies, fix that with "view the rest of "star_syndicates" movies here" taking you to a seperate page with all the movies same aplies to audio.

Portal awards could be above or below.

Other Stuff

Any information regarding points/power should be kept in a seperate box from all the relevent user information, blam / protect, no of reviews / posts, experience, stickers, votingpower, level + logo etc. Keep that at the bottom of the page.
Personally I couldn't give a crap about how much someone has done or gained through the site, I think it should be more about the content. The less focus on power and points and batting average the more users might take an interest in the work and personalities of the people they're trying to blam.

Never use a big word where a smaller one will suffice.
