Electric Love

When the mako flies
from the bottom of your soul
I want to hear it glide
from the time of paradise

Don't think that the fright is gone
even thought it may scare the light
Rember that
my music is my love for you

Electric nights
Might scare away your inner shine
but when you know the time is right
music is our love

Dane Cook sucks...

Response to: Fender or Gibson Posted February 5th, 2010 in General

Personally i like Fender's sound better. Maybe it was because all the musicians basically rely on Telecasters and Mustangs but i just love the sound that comes out of them.

You already know I saw it from the Cinema Club, lol.

Doesn't mean I can't call you lucky. I'm really pissed at the fact that I missed it.
I wish the DVD would come out already.

He's on Air now!

Also. Plastic Beach Deluxe from HMV is about £22 (preordered today) and D-Sizes is part of their 2 for £10 deal now, as well as Gorillaz and Demon Days.

I preordered it yesterday I think. I asked my teacher to get it for me an I'll give him the cash. I'm happy that the UK/JAP/US editions are the same unlike last time.

Nettle tea is pretty good. Has a bit of "sea-ish" taste to it but in the good way. REALLY good for the throat too.

Supposedly a new album from Oasis (2.0). I'm also unsure of this, since I always saw Noel as the frontman, so without him, it seems like it won't bring as much to the table. I haven't really cared for Liam's work, and I don't think he's matured enough as a songwriter to bring out excellent tunes.

I was wondering how that would sound to. I was never a big oasis fan. I'm more into Blur but they did have good tunes that Noel wrote. I have no idea how Liam is going to be able to pull this record off.

2010 is going to be a big year in the music industry with a lot of artists releasing new records.

Me personal, am looking forward to getting my hands on Gorillaz's Plastic Beach and Massive attack's Heligoland.

What are you looking forward to Record wise?

Another one..... Not quite sure what to put in that question mark area...

Great Decades

She said to come over at five
he didn't hear he right
he forgot about it
caused her dismay

he told her he was sorry
his forgot all about him
forgave him again

In the
little park in the suburbs
left him there standing in the dust
down the hill goes all the (???)
of the last decades
those great decades

He asked her "when can we hang out"
She said "how about tonight"
Digital letters
never meant so much

Arrived there at 9
only to find empty lights
the dogs started barking
he had to go running

In the
little park in the suburbs
left him there standing in the dust
down the hill goes all the (???)
of the last decades
those great decades

I will kiss you, when I can

In the
little park in the suburbs
left him there standing in the dust
down the hill goes all the (???)
of the last decades
those great decades

In the
little park in the suburbs
left him there standing in the dust
down the hill goes all the (???)
of the last decades
those great decades

Here's one I wrote last night. Still needs touch-ups here and there but I think I can Post them
Melody to you

When the song
arrives in the sun
It will lift you up
from afar

Until then
everyday
lost to a
forgotten word
that would make it work

Hope you see
the young night's
I made for you
Moon glows all over
the sea singing its beautiful melody
just for you

Waking up
to hear you sigh
might sound bad
but it's really not

I don't care
even if you don't want it
The sun will shine on you
from my point of you

Hope you see
the young night's
I made for you
Moon glows all over
the sea singing its beautiful melody
just for you

Hope you see
the young night's
I made for you
Moon glows all over
the sea singing its beautiful melody
just for you

I'm actually getting really hyped about this now. The story is unfolding slowly and Damon and Jamie know what they are doing. I'm definitely not going to be disappointed.

- for the promotion of Plastic Beach, journalists are being shown round a Gorillaz art exhibition / installation in a warehouse in East London. They are shown a film about the making of Plastic Beach, can view prints of Gorillaz art, and can view the actual model of Plastic Beach as seen in the Gorillaz web teaser films (which can actually light up in the dark). They can listen to the album on a supplied mp3 player, but are subject to a full search including the use of a metal detector, before being allowed in the exhibition, to prevent illict recording.
- The Gorillaz' website will relaunch with all new interactive content on February 22nd.
- The message that Plastic Beach is Gorillaz' last album is also repeated at the exhibition.
- The exhibition includes an 'animated storyboard' for Stylo
- Murdoc mentions a Gorillaz 'tour' in the film shown.

Here is another one...

Carnivalee Freakshow

The Spoken Line
Of the troubled past
It turns you down
But Not around

It will always follow you
even though you try hiding with a smile
The Carnival Is always there
with it's freak show of the mind

The Carnival is there for you
Caring for your broken soul
When the time has
arisen

My lyrics book. Posted January 28th, 2010 in Writing

I'm not exactly sure if this is like the art forum but I'm gonna post lyrics and poems I writer through out my "eventful" days.

This one Is called Glowing Night. I think the tittle is rubbish but it is what it is for now.

And I will miss you too
Like I know you will do
Like I hold you I wish you do well

All the gates will open up
Looking for the dreams above
singing in love, watching hopefully.

It may be a stupid feeling, but I want to feel it again.
And the night is young , but we still have so much to do.
The glowing water will still fall down
even when the sky isn't blue.

Waking up feeling right
going to sleep full of fright
But the Moon's glow will warm you up

When you will come back
I won't seem to feel it
till the sun has come back down

It may be a stupid feeling, but I want to feel it again.
And when night is young, we will still have so much to do.
But the glowing water will still fall down
even when the sky isn't blue.
