Yeah, you're fucked.

Give me some slack. English is my third language. I apologize I accidentally misspelled a word on an internet forum.

Sort of a mid-teen crysis I guess. Posted November 28th, 2011 in General

Dear Newgrounds, I need your advice. I'm kinda been having a kind of feeling of helplessness about what I am going to do with my future. I have been feeling like this for a good year now ever since the start of graduating year.

As I noticed that my parents (Both of whom have finished university back in Europe) are having an extremely hard time in this economic downturn or whatever you want to call it, made me worry a lot about what is gonna happen to me when it's my turn to provide for my future family.

At a pretty early point in my life, thanks to this website and it's community, I decided that I want to work in the field of animation. And ever since I have worked really hard to do my best to learn all that I can. But even though I'm doing all this I have this huge feeling in my gut that everything I tend to do is inadequate and it won't help me survive.

Now don't get me wrong, I thorough love this craft and everything it involves, but you have to understand that in a culture that tends to mock a huge number of people that try to get degrees in this sort of field, it gets a bit discouraging for a person in a low income family.

Due to this, I am completely terrified of having to go to college, due to the huge amounts of debt that I would gather because of it and again, this fear of not being employed in the field after getting the degree. This also makes me really set my bar really high up fro what I want to do. I really tend to enjoy working hard on a piece and seeing how they end up, but after a day, I tend to totally disown the picture due to me hating all the fault in it.

I just really needed to get this out to people who might respond, because ever since I moved to Calgary five months ago, I have been stuck at home without many relationships with the outside world, due to the fact that I am babysitting my 4 year old brother for my parents. These thoughts have been lingering in my head and I haven't really talked about them until now. If you read up until this point, I really thank you for listening to me, and I would really appreciate some advice.

He is probably my favourite character in the entire series next to Dumbledore. I was extremely pissed about not seeing him at all in the last movies.

No matter what trends are popular, the grammar nazi will still be lurking around.

Usually, I don't really care about spelling, but when it's something extremely simple that you tend to pick up in first grade, then that bothers me. I mean I won't go out and point out every mistake that he would make in his posts, but come on, you have to draw the line somewhere.

You could make a fun little contest and the winner gets it, if you get the OK from a mod.

That is a really great idea. I always love seeing contests in this forum cuz a lot of great entries are always made!

I remember reading somewhere that November was literature month or sunfin. I also heard that artists should try creating 1 character a day in November. I decided that I would try this and try to at least whip out 5 characters a week (Since I don't have access to the computer on the weekends usually.) Unfortunately I picked the wrong zear to start this, and I got distracted by all the games. I'm going to try finish this in December instead, because by that time I will have my own computer.

So here is the Lineup for the first week. (From the left to right)

1: The Doctor: He is a Beak Doctor from the middle ages, but instead of the black death, the plague that covered Europe is a Zombie T-Virus thing that infected most of the world. He then trained himself in the art of assasination so that he can easily get from place to place without being Detected by the creatures.

2: Steve The âEUoeAnti-HipsterâEU Hipster: He is just a poor fella who really hates the idea that the public has of hipsters. But unfortunatelly the more he tries to avoid being a hipster to avoid the embarresment, the more he ends up looking like one.

3: Mia: Mia is a famous explorer, but unfortunately she is really bad at it. She woudlnâEUTMt be able to find herslef on a map of her own room. But she has the uncany luck of always getting out of trouble and finding the treasures she is looking for.

4: Bill the old Bulldog: Bill is an old bulldog that is always grumpy due to his masterâEUTMs also grumpy demeanour. He finds most people and dogs extremely annoying, except for his master who he has an enormous sweet spot for.

5: Margaret: BillâEUTMs owner. All trough out her life she has been grumpy, At the age of 30, her brother got him Bill who she imidiately took a liking of. She takes great care of Bill, and enjoys watching him scarring the neighbours and their children.

Well if you have a microphone that you can use with computer you can always get Audacity. It's free and pretty simple to use.

But next time if you have an audio related question ask in the Audio Forum. You may get better help there.

I looked at all the drawings in your thread. And I think you are off to a good start, especially with the lates pictures you have uploaded. But I noticed that your anatomy seems a bit stiff and flat.

The best way to really fix this is to do a bit of life drawing so you can get a sense of depth in your drawings. It would definitely help improve your art.

Hope to see more from you!
