Your post is a great example of obama supporters. When serious concerns about the man are brought up (see socialism, unemployment, higher taxes, healthcare, the deficit, foreign affairs, etc.), you take them, refuse to actually take them for value, lop them all together and ask "why does everybody hate him?" instead of looking at the answers you already know exist. Then, you are given such answers such as "Because he's black," "Because he's a democrat," and the like. Because of the question you pose, you portray him as the victim of discrimination, never take his policies into account and demonize those who criticize him. (See nancy pelosi referring to protesters as "nazis") The reason you never take actual concerns into account is because you see that they do have value, but refuse to acknowledge them. If you actually took a close look at all of them, you would see the value that they actually possess.
When you look at his "stimulus" bill, you see that none of the legislation is actually aimed at stimulating, but at funding pork projects. Then, you see that it is not really "all bush's fault" (an entirely different subject), and that unemployment continues to rise because of it.
When you acutally google HR 3200 (the health care bill) you will see specific examples of how obama will remove healthcare from private providers and relocate it to the gov't. On page 16 of the bill, it states that when you want to change your coverage (or it expires) after day one of the bill being in effect, then you must enroll in the gov't option. No exceptions. This, simply put, gradually forces every american citizen to enroll in his option.
I want to put up a rant and make you think I'm right. I really do. But its getting late, and im going to bed soon. If you still think im wrong, or need clarification on something, PM me. But what you can do by yourself that will damage him the most is to do individual research and yes, that means spending 20 minutes on google to find out what he's doing, when he plans to do it, how he's going to do it, and how it will affect you as an american. Then you will penetrate his vagueness that has been his biggest asset and see the man for what he really is. And you will see that people don't "hate" him, but fear him for who he is and what he will do to this country. Not as a black democrat, or as someone who identifies with you, but as a socialist. And if you actually listen to his rhetoric (something I will be subjected to this tuesday) and examine his plan for this country, then you may feel yourself in that same state. That's it from me.
