The game director (this is just a japanese term) has very little to do with the game being released on multiple platforms or not. Kojima just makes the game, the financial decisions below to management.

This has been rumored for a looooong time. I would not be surprised to see it released in a year on the 360.

The big development that helps is the ability to save games to the HD on the 360 now.

Umm Microsoft is getting a lot of third party exclusives and a ton of timed exclusives. Some of the biggest games of the rest of the year are either 360 exclusives or are timed such as Gears 2 and Rock Band 2.

I have never played Brothers in Arms but I think you pegged it correctly with Ghost Recon meets Halo. I think it will have a very strong campaign and be highly story driven. I was never a huge fan of these squad based shooters for multiplayer (versus that is, co-op is great).

Microsoft announced some more stuff such as the ability to optionally install games to the hard-drive. Nice move, especially because it is optional. This will reduce the loud fan and reduce wear and tear on the system and disks.

Yeah this is kind of a strange move. It will end up being a good move for Nintendo because Nintendo add-ons always do well but this is kind of them admitting that the control does not work too well.

Assassin's Creed and GTA IV are examples. It has been a while since I last looked at which sold more so it could of changed since.

I think this is more a function of superior Xbox 360 ports (such as features including gamerscore) than the mere fact that the games were previously sony exclusives. Very few mainstream consumers knew or really cared that AC was a previous Sony exclusive.

I would hardly go that far. First of all, Saints Row is not nearly that old. Secondly, GTAIV has a much better story and is more polished.

It is very difficult to compare GTA to Saints Row or any other game like True Crime because of the cost.

GTA costs a minimum of $45 while Saints Row costs a maximum of $10. For the price, Saints Row is a great game.
