You really never have to preorder games anymore. Maybe back in 1999, but not in 2009. Games are always in stock.

Enjoy spending/wasting your money on a video game. I have no problem with the Halo franchise, Bungie, or Microsoft and I understand how you are successful in the entertainment software industry. Still, that does not hide the fact that Microsoft is breaking the traditional norms for its entertainment software tactics.

I plan on signing up/playing later this week when I get some free time.

It is an expansion. That's why it is Halo 3: ODST.

It is not an expansion pack because you do not need to own the first game to play it.

I think this is really intriguing. My primary question is whether the end game is "capped" for the free players. I do not want to dedicate hours to this only to find out that I cannot play further without paying. I can live with not having the best items or access to everything but I don't want to hit a hard cap.

I have no idea what new games usually sell for in Australia but that is expensive by any of our US standards. For example, a brand new game would cost you less than $70 AUD.

I can buy GTA IV for under $30 USD on Amazon, if I really tried I could get it for $20. Personally, I am waiting for them to bundle all of the DLC together and sell it as a special version for $30.

This looks pretty interesting. My main question is what is the catch? Just tons of micropayments?

Very unprofessional. Lots of grammar mistakes and the reviews are worthless.

For example, the Halo 3 review merely calls the graphics "nice." That really helps. No one will ever visit your site over the likes if IGN, Gamespot, Joystiq, etc.

If you have ideas for the site, please post them here, after reading the instructions in the first post.

I very, very, very rarely will buy a game that is priced at over $40 and I have not rented in years. $20 is the sweet spot for me but I am willing to pay $30 for AAA titles. All you have to do is wait and the prices drop on every premier game.

Again, a stolen submission is NOT going to go undetected for five years. Besides the fact that it is kind of sad that you keep track of other random users, you have no idea of how many users quietly PM Tom with a good reason then have their accounts deleted. Again, it is highly unlikely that the account was stolen. Users can and do request to their accounts deleted with regularity.
