Unfortunately these media outlets are not successful enough that they are above taking receiving bribes. I still trust IGN reviews but I hardly take them for gospel. This is one of the primary reasons why I never buy games at their release date unless I know that they are going to be AAA (Halo 3, Gears 2, etc.).
Joystiq has pretty good reviews and I trust them but they are fairly unstructured.
In the first one I just played the first scenario and built an amazing park but in the third version I actually tried to complete the challenges. It was an absolutely fantastic game. One of the best.

The update is live. Facebook, Twitter, Last.FM and Zune Video are all up for anyone that cares. None of them really have to do with gaming, but the Last.FM program is actually really cool.
I'll sign on later and see if they changed anything since the preview. I have been using the update for a couple of weeks now and Facebook was pretty buggy. My 360 actually crashed when using it.
The slow climb continues. With any luck (i.e. people stop depositing in front of me) I can move up four slots next month! I would be happy to get another two.
Happy to see that EA is struggling. I vowed to never buy another EA game after they killed NFL2K5. Sadly, it has been rather easy to do since they primarily just release crap.
What goes on in your people's homes that discs are getting scratched to the point of unreadability constantly? That may have happened to one used game that I bought but it really is not that difficult to return games to their cases when done using them.
Despite thinking that it is a horrible indication of your quality as students and of your parent's abilities as caretakers, if you will be purchasing MW2 in the UK, apparently you should be buying it at the supermarket.

Skipping school to buy a video game. Sad state of affairs that the youth is in.
It's been that way for the last three decades, though.
I have never skipped school just to go buy a video game. You do realize that you have all of that time after school on the weekend to play if you wish, right? Unless you are one of the cool kids who likes to brag that you were the first person to play a game.
besides the thousands of people who were able to buy it early.
