Hmm, i think the Nazgul will be epic to play as (though they focus less on fighting than the movies let on)

Archers are definately being balanced before gold release

Mages...I think the devs need to redo their research (the next bit is nerdy as hell so brace yourself), there are a grand total of 9 people alive during Lord of the Rings with control over anything resembling magic: Gandalf the Grey/White, Saruman the White/of Many Colors, Radagast the Brown, the Blue Wizards Alatar and Pallando, Elrond, Galadriel, the Mouth of Sauron, the Witch King, and Sauron himself.

What does that have to do with anything? As far as i know Leeroy Jenkins isn't a big FPS player at all. He mostly just plays WoW.

I meant that symbolically, not literally :P

Lazer defense: an underestimated tower defence (probably too difficult for newer players)

Krin RPG's: Sinjid, Sonny, whatever he decides to do next, you name it.

Punk-o-matic (music maker for noobs it may be, it is still fun to play with)

Ether War

Starcraft Flash Action's 3 and 5 (both versions of 5)

The RPG era still isn't dead, and I don't think it ever will be. FPS gaming is fun, frantic, and just all-out awesome. If you don't like FPS games, don't play them. Nobody is forcing you to.

correct and correct, rpg's will NEVER die (trust me, theres a crowd out there now that will never go away, me included), and the "fps is all about who can click fastest" thing...well...have you ever heard of Leeroy Jenkins?

The next Halo, "Halo 4" was rumored to be in production by GearBox for the launch of the next Xbox but that was just a rumor. They could be working on porting Halo 3 to PC because they ported the original Halo to PC.

At the moment, you CANNOT port Halo 3 to the PC because the way it's designed would necessitate at least a TERRABYTE (Don't get me started on how much that is) or RAM to run the game.

Sigma Star Saga (for the gameplay you idiots)

Not the kind that allow 11 year olds to get a kill online, just ones that extend the game a bit, give us a reason to explore.

examples:

Halo 2-now with a better health system and no fall damage(sorta), the campaign levels are designed with a few oversights that allow you to get outside the normal boundaries, such as the level Delta Halo (which, when adjusted for accessible areas, is the largest level in the series), shame Halo 3 had more invisible walls than you could count. The many searches for methods to do this essentially kept campaign alive a bit longer. Not to mention spending hours trying to get the Scarab Gun (which I have yet to accomplish)

Spyro 2- The (unwitting) addition of double jump allowed you to get outside the levels and just screw around in general (thankfully most people beat the game before they learned about this), despite the game coming out almost 10 years ago, video still pop up on youtube in 2008 of this.

So what are your thoughts on this?

Lacking because it is web based defence games that are lacking

Response to: Is the new WoW expansion worth it? Posted December 10th, 2008 in Video Games

Lets put it simply:

BC was a new land with flying mounts and a few new gameplay twists, and only a few story resolutions (killing off Illidan with no connection to Arthas or Furion kinda sucked anyway)

WotLK is a new land with god knows how many new mount styles (bowchickabowwow) and a few moments that make you wonder just how good a WoW fps (that is possible, not plausible though) would do, and the story...well... (Freaking trailers alone reveal a crap load of stuff we've been guessing about since warcraft 3)

Lets see where the future leads us too :)
