FF7 by Squaresoft had epic orchestral meaningful music, the "prequel" made by Square Enix has noisy, pointless rock music in it.

Nobuo Uematsu wasn't working for Square-Enix at the time, they used Takeharu Ishimoto for the soundtrack instead (Though I guarantee you wouldn't even have posted this if Miss Shimomura did the soundtrack...).

FFX by SquareSoft had a meaningful and deep storyline, FFX-2 made by Square Enix is pretty much Charlies Angels the video game.
