Some hate it simply for its popularity.
Some hate it because it overshadowed their own favorite game released around the same time.
Some hate it because it's "all anime and shit" (Japanese/Korean games only, need not have any anime connection in the first place, these are troll's we're talking about)
Some hate it simply for the purpose of hating something.
Some hate it because it's single-platform (and not on their choice system)
The majority hate it simply because other people tell them to.

PC version: Worth every penny, seeing as you get every Half Life 2 part (except the unreleased part 3), Portal (few hours of fun), and TF2 (Very Good).

Xbox: Maybe not as good (harder for snipers if you use gamepad), but you don't need internet connection to play (last I checked at least)

Hmm, what about a Weapon Fighting game where 1 hit will either severely injure or outright kill you ,think Bushido Blade for the PS1, except instead of standing and waiting for an opening, it's all about dodge, duck, weave, block, and all around running like hell, and fighting back...don't forget to fight back.
