Toybox was awesome too

Well, I'm not the president here, but Fatkid is gone for, like, a month now, so I'm gonna take care of this club before it's dead...

Of course you can join, welcome! Mind though, feel free to browse the old pages, but there's little new stuff to find lately...

Also, Rose, thanks a bunch for the tutorial! I just bought the Dream CS4 Package after months of money gathering... now all I need is a tablet, and I'll get the heck started!

At 7/24/09 02:57 AM, KalebKore wrote: ..Go make a "Smoke Quitters Club" in clubs and crews if there isn't already one. If there is join it.

It doesn't make sense to make a club for an issue that should be temporary. I don't intend to be "trying to quit smoking" for a long time.

I've just been trying to quit alcohol actually. I noticed that since I turned 18, I've been drinking 4-5 nights a week, and when I don't drink I have trouble sleeping. It's been 3 days and I'm still having trouble sleeping and I'm sweating a lot, but I think I can keep it up now that I recognize it as a problem.

I know it's nothing compared to smoking, but I do understand some of the things that people go through when quitting a substance. (...)

Well now, that's not true - alcohol is as hard to quit as smokes, and so is chocolate! All addicting things are darn hard to quit, and in the case of alcohol, drinking as much as you were leads to future liver problems that are as bad as those caused by smoking... so it's good to hear you're quitting!

I've found a way to get double the pleasure from a single cig. This makes it possible to cut the number of cigs by half, so hopefully I can now reduce to one cig a week!
Hopefully, this will help someone else too: intercalate small smoke breathes with small nose breathes. These breathes should be small enough for you to intercalate at least five times before you fill your lungs! This way you feel eache breath a lot more! (Don't know how, but this works, at least for me.)

I wouldn't recommend doing this if you're not planning to quit though, as by doing so you end up breathing a lot of unfiltered smoke, so that might have some bad effects after some years...

Basically you go back in time and frontwards in time. But the game is failry long so it will take you a while to even travel in time! You need to know how to solve passwords btw. It also has some pretty cool graphics. BEGIN.

God DAMMIT, this one was AWESOME... and dastardly HARD... took me some HOURS to complete!!!!!

What can I say to half the people here? So much for respecting topic rules... about the others, some of that stuff I knew already, and am trying, others said things that I'm going to try, hopefully they work.

Finding other stuff to do really help indeed, for instance, I started this topic in one of the urges to smoke... so I guess now I might make it to 3 cigs a week...

I'm trying to quit smoking.. for GOOD. I started thinking about my future, and I don't want my grandchildren to suffer like I suffered for my grandfather.

In the past weeks, I've already managed to reduce to about 4 cigs a week. I really smoke them only when I can't take it anymore. And I'm trying to reduce to ZERO.

So I thought, I might not be the only one out there, and decided to create this topic. Let's share experinces, tips, and show our progress.

Haters/Moralists: this topic is for people trying to quit so, unless you have something very useful and helpful, please keep it to yourself, or go flam smokers somewhere else.

Non-quitters: It's already hard enough without comments like "smoking is the best thing ever, why quit?", so please leave us be and enjoy your cancer.

MODs: I searched and couldn't find any topic regarding this so, if I'm mistaken, please link to the existing topic and lock this one.

Together, we can make it, guys!

I still haven't been able to get a decent audio recorder, so until then I recorded with my video camera. Problem is, I can't find any freeware program that converts the video to the sampling needed for Newgrounds to accept. I already tried converting to audio first, then using another program to change the sampling. Anyone can help me?

Use a pipe instead?

I meant "wasting" like, there are some remains left that can't be burned, like when the filter in a cigarrete brakes and you just can't smoke all the tobacco.

Anyways, the pipe is a great idea, thanks for that!

Hey, I didn't find any rules regarding this, so if any mod finds this thread to be wrong, please delete it.

I sometimes enjoy rolling a joint to relieve the everyday stress, but the way I roll it, makes me feel like I'm wasting a lot of weed (and for .7R$ a gram, which would be something like 35 cents, that's wasting a LOT of money). So, I ask of you newgrounds, any tips on how to roll joints without wasting?

Okeys now, easy on that - one thing is what's "on", the other thing is personal taste. The fact that MOST girls today like "girly" men doesn't mean they all do - it would be the same as saying all men find Gisele Bündchen hot!

I for one, am the typical viking - very big build and a lot of blonde hair all over the body. Darn, I guess I would even be better placed some ages ago than today.
Well, I started dating my gf because she tought I was good-looking, and she laughs of men who shave their "parts", saying they're gay.

To the TLDR's:my point is that you should be what you are, and be proud of it, for there will always be people who will like it!
