What is it half price for mixed races then?

Where do you live because I being African American have never heard of this holiday.

Anyway, its one free meal. You "No blah blah" sign comment is going a bit to far.

No contest, Gran Turismo is better

But I don't play games to simulate real life I play them to experience things that could never happen in real life. Or should I say things that I would never attempt in real life. Just it being the most realistic doesn't make it the best.

Plus GTHD = 400 to 1000 dollars to unlock everything

Response to: Gran Turismo Better Than Pgr3? Posted October 20th, 2006 in General

Well I give it to PGR because they don't force you to pay 400 to 1000 extra dollars to unlock all the cars and tracks.

I wish was making that up....

Response to: Nintendo Wii Posted October 18th, 2006 in General

Well Dobio you have to know that half the people that play games on this site are so ignorant into what they spew out of their mouth about them its silly.

Anyway, I did not preorder a Wii but my friend and I's hope is that there will be more than enough consoles at launch that being said we will still be infront of a BestBuy at 6 in the morning.

I don't know what to believe what I do know is that the Bush administration has used this attack as a scare tactic to allow them to declare war on whoever they please. Loose Change did bring up some interesting question mostly about the Pentagon. This event at least should be reexamined for the simple fact that I am pretty sure Bush knew it was going to happen.

Did he plan it as some elaborate plot? I have no idea....

I'd go with Wii its not like you don't have access to a comp plus with the Wii you could get more for less. You might also be able to con your parents into getting you some extra controllers and crap.

Heres some songs you maybe more familiar with.

Cypress Hill - Rock Superstar

A great song with a hard rock breakdown that makes you just want to wild out and start thrashing shit. I've always dug this band but have never bought a CD from them.

The Roots - The Next Movement

Another song produced and played live by The Roots one of my favorite songs of all time. It has a more mellow vibe so this is better lounging music.

Talib Kweli - I try

A Song with DEEP lyrical mean this ones goes out to the people that claim that rappers lyrical content is deep and meaningful. Talib Kweli continues to be the voice of people that can't speak out for themselves . He speaks about abandonment and hopelessness.

Ok what didn't you like about it try and be more descripitive than "Its rap and I don't like rap". Also try and rate the songs out of 10

So I'd give it a 8/10, you?

What afraid you might dig it? All I ask is you listen and try to form a more of an informed opinion beyound just stating "Rap Sucks" then leaving.

Imagine if I watched MTV and only saw songs by Good Charolette and made the statement "OMG ROCK SUCKS" even though I just scratched the surface of a musical form. It's kinda a double standard that people believe that MTV plays nothing but crap music but still love rock but when they see a bad rap video the assume all rap is the same.

I can make you like Hip-Hop (maybe) Posted October 14th, 2006 in General

For awhile its been going around topics in which my favorite art form is bashed and belittled but I and others feel strongly this is because people have not been introduced to the right vibe.

Just like other forms of music people are afraid to really jump into an a music styling that they do not feel comfortable experiementing with.

So basically all I ask is that you give me some time and listen with an open mind and trully try to understand the music. Hip-Hop tells the story of people that have little and scream out in frustration with the world around them. Normally coming from nothing with hopes of making it people just want happiness.

So up first

Method Man - Judgement Day = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpXfaJuLutY

This song has a straight ill beat and the visuals in the video do well to express what Mef was trying to portray lyrically.

The Roots - Don't say nothing = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZO54sHLAAI

For all those that say that Rappers don't have talent because they don't play instruments I answer with this. All the music is played live even the turntable is just a guy imitating the sound with this mouth. The lyrics are a combo of freestyle and a later version of "Don't say nothing". The Roots represent a band that doesn't get much airtime but stays true to the music. They are all about the music before the success.

A Tribe Called Quest - Scenario = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YasjfkbPOpE

A great song that comes from one of Hip-hops best groups to ever grip a mic. This song is all about what rap used to be party music in which people had a good time.

*Interesting note - This is Busta Rhymes first video him being 17 at the time had to have his mother at the shoot to approve his contract for the video*

Notice how most of these guys stray away from your typical violence and bling lyrical stylings. I'll have a bit more later but listen to the tracks and tell me what you think.
