I'd stab him since shooting him may be seen as excessive force. I'd mostly likely stab him in the arm or something, basically inflict a non-fatal wound. Just in case the popo shows up and thinks that I killed him over a drug deal or something.

My life would have been radically different. For starters, my family's financial situation would improve drastically because my father would bring in more income. He owns a huge car dealership overseas so he's financially stable. He would take care of me as a child while my mother spent weeks upon weeks in a hospital. I wouldn't have been angry as a child, I would have had a childhood period. Hell, I think I would be a different person entirely.
Overall, I'd say my life would improve drastically and what's messed up is that my dad is actually a pretty nice person. He just has a whole mess of issues concerning his family and the funny thing is, he didn't have a father figure in his life either. So though they may not be "head over heels" happy, their relationship would never take a turn for the abusive. Though it could lead to a whole of annoying passive-aggressiveness. On that note, I just completely disproved my previous statement concerning your first question.
It is quite bizarre. I'm currently reading a report on this subject, i'll update the thread when I have finished reading it.
Please do. Lord knows I can't wrap my head around that particular subject.
As a kid, I never named my pokemon. But now, I nickname every single pokemon I catch! Names like:
Luxray- Pwecious
Slakoth- Me
Togekiss- Sunnyside^
Sableye- Crystal
Whimsur- SHUT UP!!!!
Rayquaza- RayRay
Geodude- SIDEQUEST
Haunter- Gasper
Empeleon- Fab Freddy
Treecko- Trey
And many, many more. It's quite fun.
lol this has to be a joke. I mean come on, one of their songs is entitled "You'll Never Catch Me Chris Hansen."

Oh hey, yet another America basher. Lovely. Anyway, people outside of the US care about it's elections not because of the "leader of the free world" stuff. They care because the next president would be in control of this country's institutions, like Wall Street, which affects people overseas.
No, because I don't live in Sweden. Thus, it doesn't affect me at all.

I'd say no. I believe it's fair more damaging to have parents who are simply putting up with each other instead of loving one another.
2] To what extent do you think single parent upbringings are damaging to children?
As a person who was raised in a single parent household, it can be pretty rough. My father broke up with my mother right before I was born so I didn't really have a father figure in my life. It certainly doesn't help that he would make empty promises of occasional visits, even as a child it completely pissed me off. To the point where I would shun anything that has to do with fathers (Father's day etc). To top it all off, my mother was terribly sick at the time (she had lupus) and had to get her hip replaced. I'm not going to delve into sob story territory, I'm just showing that I'm not exactly an ordinary case when it comes to single parenting.
In short, depending on the situation, it can fuck you up pretty badly emotionally.
3] How highly do you value your family and the concept of family loyalty?
As of recent, I don't really put too much on family loyalty and values and such. In my family, all it takes is a single argument to split us up for a couple of months.
4] In the past, there was much social stigma surrounding relationship breakdown and divorce. Why do you think family breakdowns are considered to be more acceptable today?
You got me. My guess is that perhaps our culture is becoming more liberal in terms of marriage. Nowadays, you can get a divorce over just about anything. I honestly have no idea.
1] Do you think same sex parenting and adoption should be permissible?
Yes, I do. Honestly, I don't see what's the big deal here. I can understand the idea of it being a bit awkward but for it to have the negative implications mentioned in that excerpt is ridiculous. Bullying? Kids bully kids over everything! This is 2010, the idea of same-sex marriage/adoption is not some foreign concept anymore.
I voted for Broad Run because I like to support underdogs.

Pokemon is and has always been a 30 minute video game commercial.
New episodes resume on October 30th. I have no idea as to why they showed that one new episode, it must be some HUGE mistake on their part.

I'd say so. I doubt the remaining members of Queen would allow a movie about Freddie to become a Borat-like joke.
Hmmmm, that's interesting. Well, I guess he could pull it off though I'm basing this on a hunch since I don't think he's done any serious roles in the past.
Sup fellow New Yorker. That big-ass storm rolled through here (my hood in the Bx) pretty quickly! But damn did it strike hard! No tornadoes in our end though and it didn't take down any electric poles, maybe some trees though. As terrible as that storm was, it looked pretty cool, skies blackening and whatnot.
