double click on it.

It's right below the LAYERS in flash.

Did you even try to look?

Response to: Animators question Posted April 15th, 2007 in Game Development

It depends on what you use it for.

Tweens just dont hardly ever look good on living things. It makes things look robotic. People and animals just dont look alive when animated with tweens.

Everything else, hey it looks fine.

Slow-motion usually needs tweens as well. FBF slow motion in flash would look shite.

Basically it ran on the same fuel as the movie Crash.

Good though.

Dont forget to put the actionscript to STOP the cartoon from animating on whatever frame you want people to click the button in.

Or flash will just skip over it. :/

Make a new layer.

Get a really LOOOONG sound. Like a song or something.

Put it in this layer. Click the keyframe the song starts in. Click the "EDIT" button in the properties inspector.

A screen will come up. Lower the volume of the song to as low as possible until you cant hear it anymore.

Set the song to stream.

WHAT THIS DOES:

Flash, especially old versions, have a streaming sound glitch. This causes only certain things to stream. By placing this streamed song overlapping the whole flash, you cause flash to pay attention TO THAT SONG, thus FORCING the other sound to stream with the song making them go in-sync.

I fell out the back of a bus during a fire escape and twisted the bottom half of my leg below the knee around backwards.

So, I got to lay in bed for a 2 weeks in incredible pain, pulling myself around the house on my hands and eventually some crutches. Then I got food poisoning or some shit. So then I'd have to drag myself to the restroom as quickly as my 1 leg could hobble, never made it, shat myself, etc etc.

Then came the physical therapy. Going into a gym every day so some chick could twist my shattered leg into a whole clusterfuck of wrestling moves to "cure it"
Then electrocuting the leg with some sort of shock therapy to "help the pain"

Response to: Ninjas vs. Pirates! Posted April 14th, 2007 in General

Robots would win.

For they are made of metal.

All the powers of Ninjas and Pirates PLUS immortality.

I've done a lot of stylesT__T.

I am honestly trying very hard not to laugh here.

No offense, but I think you need to head to a museum.

Every drawing there, is the same style. Each character is a simplified stock anime character.
They all look like they fell out of the same flash cartoon.

The best way to teach yourself a new style of drawing, is to draw from real life. Draw a friend. Or hell, a potted plant. A moose. Roadkill. Anything.
Eventually, you brain will go POP and you will realize that you can draw anything in a wide variety of styles from Mary Blair to Todd McFarlane.

And BlueHippo, quit advertising my hideous shit art, god damnit. >:C

Its just like all the previous versions of flash.

except with laggy special effects and filters.

I taught myself the program.
Tutorials dont teach what the true basics of flash are usually. How to make frames, scenes, etc etc.

Increase the frames per second.

Flash default is 12.

Or make the Delay Time shorter in software like Animation Shop.

My thoughts exactly.

If you are REALLY serious about this, I'd suggest finding bright colors that dont clash quite as much. Not using the edited line tools in flash to draw.

.....too many things argh.

Disgusting, violent, senseless, ridiculous, brilliant and funny as hell.

Pros:

Kickass action.
A myriad of hot chicks blowing things up.
Kurt Russel being scary as hell.
Nicholas Cage cameo thats funny as hell.
Preachers with shot guns.
Tarantino as a zombie with zombie testicles.

Cons:
3 hours long.

Everyone see it. >:C
