According to the thread, he doesn't have one. By the way, I live in Finland where knife carry is somewhat frowned upon, spring batons are illegal to sell to civilians and gun carry is illegal. If a mugger sees that his victim has a weapon of his own, they'll run. They expect you to be weak, and when you even the odds with your own knife, they realize they might have bit off more than they can chew. Also, if gun carry was allowed, I'd start carrying in a heartbeat.
