Yes, I mostly agree with Whatty, but I have few disagreements that is very vital. It is true that the world is being more chaotic with media overexposure, heightened violence, AIDs, food shortages, and numerous problems in this world. It is important that we are aware of this because if we are not, we are certainly "destroying ourselves" everytime we blink. For example, in the olden days, noone swore to each other and if they did, the word such as "Fuck" had bigger value. It is like comparing a dollar as the modern value of "Fuck" and a 100 dollars as the olden value of "Fuck". Also media overexposure has been a big problem and had led to problems above. Now with the versatille Internet, it can give you both good and the bad. The world is now smaller with the Internet. You can talk to people as you were talking to them at a cafe or watch porn instead of walking to the department store and buying a Porno Magazine. With these technology of Internet, the US Armed Forces, and many radical technologies, we are able to fix these problems. But with maniacs behind the big red button, we will end up destroying ourselves putting them into bad usage. Hence, if this problem is not realized, the destiny of the human race is definitively would end in a tragic, unfortunate disaster as we see our accomplishment blow to bits. Critques are welcomed.

communism started spreading faster as indpendant government arose from both soviet and US in south and north. That action resulted in more clearer sign that north and south were at their edges. Even though it is tru that it wasnt US's fault that both of the countries didnt move out, but US could have negotiated with the soviets to let the contry do their things by themselves and taking their hands off them. Also it is tru that America viewed korea as a threat because look at this, even to this day, Korea could not have nukes because of US's denial to the request. US denied the request because if korea started building nukes, it would some day become threat to US and add another country to US's nuke owning list. why do u think wealthy coutry like Korea couldn't send a person to the moon? BECAUSE US NEVER ***PERMITTE*** Korea to develope ICBM engine technologies. How do you think China is with the space program now? Now back to the topic, America couldnt look at Korea as a threat back than at the 50s and the 60s because Korea hung balance at the edge with the economy because of the occupation of Japan. I understand this. I am just deomnstrating to wasted America, however, that it is, in fact, not the fault of the US that the Korean War began. America did, as i stated before, put itself at a disadvantage to AVOID that war. However, the NK's took advantage of that situation and invaded.

Also, I do believe that we should try to resolve the situation with NK diplomatically. However, there is a limit to how much rope we should let out for NK, considering how much we ALREADY do for it, while it still threatens the west with nuclear devastation.

Also, my tactical scenario only applies to a situation in which we are sure of the locations of their nuclear weapons, and their ability to use them. I would not condone jumping in all willy-nilly and bombing based on shoddy intelligence. As you said, nuclear politics are a serious matter. I would much rather have NK defanged, then starting another Cold War with the NK's and all those they see fit to hand their weapons out to.

I definitely agree with your statement, but US did start the war by dividing korea into two separate countries and letting USSR taking control of future NK. US did this to establish Korean Government as soon as possible but the communist overran future NK because of separation at 38th parallel. USSR had a big envolovement of this because of the hatred betwen USSR and USA at that time. I 100% agree with ur statements, but US was responsible for Korean war.

ALL the scients, physists, weapon experts from all over the world came togetther and devloped the bomb. like how it was started, nukes were built for SELF DEFENSE. now, US had rose to world power and have nukes for defense and oppresion to other countries in counter measures. Now, all these communist, economicaly challenged countries, and other small countries build nukes for the same purpose as US did; to defend themselves against world's superpower as Russia and US. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ALL THE COUNTRIES TO DISARM SINCE THEY FEEL UNSAFE FROM OTHER COUNTRIES. all comments, corrections, and negative counters are welcomed :)

Ok, General, this is a serisou issue of nuclear weapons. like u said NK will reach us first, but it is best to approach this situatuion in diplomacy. if we pissed them off, we might hav destroyed them, but they probalby will have taken much more than we hav taken from them if a war broke out. Ok, i ll tell u everything about nuclear weapons and stuff. Currently, we have two types of Nuclear Bombs. One a rather old one called atomic bomb and another type called Thermonuclear Bomb or (Hydrogen Bomb). The process that is used for an atomic bomb to blow is called fission, an old way of making nuclear energy. By firing protons into an uranium atom, it splits into two releasing intense amount of heat that heats the water and turning the tubine of the nuclear plant by evaporating. There is a chain reaction after an atom is split, firing another proton into another atoms and so on. An atomic bomb utilizes this affect, so when it is deployed, it relases tremendous of amounts of energy when the bomb explodes. This process is weaker than more advanced Thermo Nuclear Bomb. Thermonuclear bomb utilizes the new ways that nuclear power plants devloped;fusion. Rather than spliting the atoms, in an intense amounts of energy(around 21 to 24 million degrees F), the uranium atom fuses togetherm and once again releasing much more amounts of energy than fission, so basicly thermo is about 10 times more effective than a fission ran bomb.(pending on warhead)So if we drop a nuclear bomb in North Korea, the whole entire Korea Pennisula would blow up and some of china and giving off radiation to Japan and China by the wind currents.
