Nope. I have Triforce and Peach, but they emit sounds of the nintendo.
Been playing alot of sega genesis lately and I remembered a song by the legendary Paragon X9 which used sounds very similar to those of Sonic 3. Does anyone know what he was using? Was it a VSTi or an actual syntehsizer? Anyone know any good VSTi's or synthesizers I could get to produce such sound? Thanks!

just a small question, at wut age did u start sound designing/loop music making? just out of curiousty, just wanna know if im behind or ahead of the game. =P
If this is a personal question.. srry ... -.-
I started with the Original FL Studio which I got when I was 12. I am now twenty. You shouldn't stick PLAINLY to FL Studio only, you should broaden your horizons. FL Studio is great (well the samples and Vsti's in it suck) but if you get the right samples and some good VSTi's it's great, but don't forget there are other programs out there as well.

You can either assign the tempo meter to an automation clip (right click, create automation clip) or you can use the edit events. Automation can be very good but not for this since the values range from 010-999.999 so I'd suggest edit events.
Yeah I have a question! I used to know but I forgot. How can I make my own chopping patter in the piano roll chopper?
So I can sell the songs I have on NG, and if for some reason, file a lawsuit for copyright infringement? And tell me is my name under copyright as well?
That's why I stopped posting here. Yeah, it says all that garbage of how it's for whatever... But is it really under a Copright, I don't think so. And that means people can use it for what they will, call it theirs, or use it for whatever, and the only thing you cna do is ask, because the only way of being able to hold a lawsuit is by placing it under copyright, which costs money.
Does anyone know how to disable enable the integrated delay on the Sytrus?? I hardly use it, but I brought it up, picked a preset for a bass, added a bit of distortion with the wave shaper and blah blah a diddly doo whatever, but it has delay... And it makes the sound bad when I change notes. Does anyone know what knob I have to turn, or what whatever I have to do to turn it off? Answers would be much appreciated.

How do I fade in a single channel/layer, just that one sequence I made using the piano roll?
There are two ways of fading in just about anything. Through automation clips or through the edit events key.
To fade in a specifiic value of a synth (volume, panning, filter cut off, etc.) through automation, you insert an automation clip to the channels window, then place it on the clip section on the playlist. It's like a line on a graph with values from 1-100, that you can stretch . Then right click on whatever knob (in this case the volume knob if you want a volume fade in, or the filter cut off knob if you want a filter fade in) and click "link to controller". A new window will open and in the center there's a little.... thing where you choose what to connect it to (where you can also connect it to peak controllers and stuff) where you will choose autoclip (or if you renamed the autoclip, the name you... named... it... by) then the line will on the autoclip in the clip section of the play list will be the the movement of the knob. If the line goes up, the knob goes up, if the line goes down... The volum goes down. (It's not that I think you're a moron... It's just that I'm trying to explain this as elemental as possible for it to make sense... Cuase it's kinda hard to explain this in a forum reply)
To control fade in through the "Edit events" feature, which is much more simple, but doesn't offer as many possiblities as the automation clip style cause you can only assign the control to one knob at a time, while with the autoclip style, you can assign the same autoclip to several knobs... anywho, to do it through "edit events" you do the following: whatever knob/lever it is you want to fade in/fade out, you right click it and then choose edit events. A new window will open which is kinda' like a piano roll. There will be the knob control. The edit events style creates a pattern on the piano roll, which you will have to place under the pattern where the synth that you want to fade in is.
Hope this didn't sound like a whole bunch of mumbo-jumbo. Just experiment with it a bit and you'll get the trick.
Fuck my bad this was supposed to go attached to the FL question thread
Does anyone know how to record vocals directly in FL? I think some one had already asked that question but this thread is so damn huge now that I ain't gonna find it... Call me lazy if you want
Yeah, this is a stupid question that probably no one's going to be able to answer except the people at fruity but here it goes... Erhum:
Why is it that when you click the plug-in options on a channel and click the "Assign free mixer track option" it always assigns it to insert 2 rather than insert one? I always set it manually and always set the first melody synth to insert 1 and there's no difference in sound at all... So why make it that way? The world may never know.
SOME ONE ASK A QUESTION DAMMIT!

Yeah... I jsut noticed that... I'll bet you think I'm an idiot right about now, haha. I'm new to MIDI Input and I hardly ever go that section.

The first noise in Forsaken Neon
Kinda sounds lkie a crash to me. Also, what instrument is like a explosion? or where can I get one? cuz I really need those 2 instruments to make this song im doing :P.
Thanks in advance :D
THat effect in Forsaken Neon is, if I'm not mistaken, a subtle white noise fade in using the 3xosc and a reverse crash, with that same crash finishing it. ANd you can get a nice explosion sound in FL, in the simsynth folder, go into the effect folder, there are a group of sounds there, the explosion is called "Distant", If you don't like it, you can search the net for free samples.

Also, is vanguard free? or do I have to pay? If I have to Pay, where? and how much?
Thanks in Advance :D
Import sounds?? Uhh, insert a sampler into the song and load the effect?? Is that it? You mean like sound effects? Or you could also load it onto the track section, which is located under the pattern section on the playlist. If you mean any other kind of effect, I have no idea what you're talking about.
And Vanguard is not free. I'm not sure how much you have to pay or where, but with the right connections you can get it for zippo. *cough cough*

*Is it possible to record midi, if i do not have a mic? like... a way to record through the computer?
*How much are midi keyboards?
*is there tutorials on how to make things... just "fit" & "run / slide smoothly"
Thanks!
What the heck does MIDI have to do with a microphone?? Hmm, unless you're using one of those programs where you play a key in the microphone and it interprets it, which suck terribly since it has horrible octave recognition, you'll get notes on random octaves. And the prices on midi keybords vary, you'll have to check on google. I'd recommend the same thing I got recently, a USB MIDI Interface cable to connect the keyboard to the comp to input directly. And about the tutorial... I don't really understand the question, but it sound to me that your asking if there are tutorials on how to shape things nicely when using a keyboard for MIDI Input... And I don't know. It's kinda' a bitch cause you have to follow the metronome as closely as possible and it will always be a bit off since it's live recording, but I just use the Input to put down the notes on the piano roll, and then I fix it manually.
Me again. high. I was wondering if there's a way to disable the metronome count-in when recording. I have the "Wait for input to start playing" tab activated, and when trying to pass MIDI from my synthesizer to FL, it's really annoying because of this count in. I have to hit any key, wait for the count in to finish and then hopefully start playing on time... It's driving me nuts! Please and thank you
I forgot to enable the Interface, my bad
Okay, I posted this in the general thread cause I didn't see this one, I thought it was already trashed, but anywho here's the question. I have a YAMAHA PortaSound PSS-480 and I just recently purchased an EDIROL UM-1EX USB MIDI Interface cable to send MIDI from my PSS-480 to FL. I have it all hooked up, and the drivers are set, but there's no MIDI flow. The Interface cable reads it, because the light starts blinking, but my computer doesn't react to anything. If some one's got the time
This one was meant for the FL Studio Questions thread but I see it's long gone. I need a little help here. I have myself a Yamaha PSS-480 and I bought my sef an Edirol UM-1 EX USB MIDI Interface cable. I have it all hooked up, but I'm not sure how to pass Midi from the Synth to FL or to the computer at all. If anyone happens to have the same thing I do, gimme a hand please, I'm beggin' ya for it. Thanks

I personally think that would kick ass.

No Better way to put it yes indeed! XD, but yeah, Techno's Percussion is in fourths, while DnB's percussion is in patterns that are.. uhm... OH DAMN JUST LEMME LISTEN TO THE DAMN SONG!
Uhh, yeah I have a question!!!!!!! I'm starting to DJ in a club, and I like to be the party, so I decided to by a mic, hook it up to my laptop, and open it through an input thing to have immedeate vocoding to make it kick ass and match the song, so I can announce in cool ways during the songs, but when I hook the mic to the mic port, and open FL, there's still nothing in the input section. How can I make it happen? And no I don't have an ASIO card
No that's not possible, and backmasking sucks. The best method is to record whatever it is you want said and lower it two negative thirty decibals; That way you don't pick it up, but your sub-limina does... And why the hell do you want Sub-liminal messages? Does your music suck that bad?
Well... topic can now go to hell cause what I wanted to know I already know
Does General experience gained from rating flashes affect the power you have in terms of audio????
