yeah, go check out court cases about it...it no longer holds water, rap artists have been sued left & right for using samples. what's usable or not hasn't been settled in court as of this date

Because British people either live vicariously through the US, or use the US as a scapegoat to point the finger at. They are obsessed with the US, they NEED to talk about the US because it draws attention away from their own country.

It's like a stalker basically, it makes their own lives more eventful when they focus their attention on someone else.

Who cares?
Everyone.

Some people care more about the US elections than they do their own. For example Canadians watched the 2004 presidential election coverage more so than they did their own national elections. I'm sure this is true in other countries as well, maybe the UK.

i agree 100% with everything that is said above by cellardoor
if your damn country is so great then why are so many people trying to get work visas to move to the US...if the USA sucks why do you even care?? why don't you go enjoy your own little country & let us enjoy ours

i've been noticing a real snobby attitude lately stemming from people who don't live in the US...specially from Canada & Great Britain

funny thing is most people from other countries want to move to the US.
do i smell a pint of jealousy??

Nuendo is the more expensive and better version of cubase.

not true...it's intended for a different use (film)
they have the same engines. Cubase has all the features you would expect of a DAW while Nuendo doesn't

it's more of a film editing program though. it's missing quite a lot of features that other DAWs have for recording artists

Topic: Conclusions: Time Travel

Posted: 01/13/08 12:25 PM

Forum: General

i have a theory that if someone were to manage to travel in time what he would see or experience would be an after-image of the energy that was there. i don't believe he would be able to alter any of it though. energy dissipates or transforms in the universe, it never disappears though...everything is composed or connected to some type of energy, time simply can't be stopped, even frozen space continues to move, but maybe traveling or rewinding the road in the state of energy is possible

humans have done some really amazing shit so far...& that's in only 2000 recorded year history
imagine a couple of thousand years more

the audio portal wasn't made to showcase soundtracks...it was made as an outlet for the audio artists that worked in flash, sure it has grown beyond that, but it still stands. why give audio more space when nobody comes here for that, they come here to see flashes

oh, most of the people involved in the last civil war were farmers...don't count the common man out jst yet ;)
a lot of people are angry & distrustful of government & politics. the US is a powder keg that just needs the right spark to go kaboom...a depression just might be it
bu the government is likely to employ counter measures...it'll be a lot easier to curb since gold isn't traded between companies anymore.
it would take something very drastic to slump the nation, this won't happen by conventional means
