Sometimes when I try to sleep I hear repeated phrases of people saying negative, but inspirational phrases. Such as my coaches.

It's weird. It's loud, and scares me just a bit, but IDK what to think when I hear this.

Well, you listed a bunch of your interests. You could go to college and get degrees in almost all of those fields and end up with a good job. Not going to college is harder, much harder but you can still end up in a good career with some work. But yeah, the easier route (in the end) is going to college.

Probably, but I know with programming, or hacking, or anything, a fancy degree doesn't guarantee you abilities to write code like a pro. It all leads up to hard work and dedication.

Why is the United States' job/carreer system the way it is?
It was explained to me that you will never make any money or get a good job if you don't goto college and get a degree. What I don't get is why is this necessary? I am looking into music production, video game design, computer engineering, programming, networking, and other possible technology based careers. I already know how to do these things, and I know it takes skill, which I have. So why do I need to goto college? What is the purpose of it if I already know how to do the things I do? To me, it doesn't make any sense.

These are the two outcomes I get depending on the choice I make of either going to college, or not.
1. I either work at McDonalds for the rest of my life and be poor.
2. or two, I become a rich doctor...

I don't want to be a doctor, and if I don't goto college, I already have the talent and skill to work with anything technological. I'm sure that pays good money.
So why can't I work in those jobs? Do I really need to waste my parents money and time of my life trying to get a degree, A PIECE OF PAPER! Just to "prove" I can do something? Shouldn't my skills actually be tested for the job, instead of relying on a piece of paper?

I have the talent and love for technology, and there's nothing I would rather do. I could already be working and make good money, while others waste their time in a college, getting a title such as "doctor" and then having their life wasted as they aren't even guaranteed a job.
