Bit harsh don't you think? Could have been worse. He is the one putting all the pieces of this collab together. From my end, it's not like I wasted much time, though I cannot say the same for his side. I'd imagine it be alot harder since he has to code buttons in order to play, skip and rewind etc.

I don't blame you. As a university student, deadlines for modules/courses/assignments are a higher priority. Don't feel too bad, most of us just got lost since no one gave an update. Like sheep with no shepard. Though I hope you've passed whatever deadlines you have already done. May's usually the dreaded time of the year when shit gets real.

Wouldn't that make it no better if we have to wait 2 weeks for a response? People have waited for a while now and waiting for a longer period of time might make matters worse. Isn't there anyway you can start progress until he responds. It may seem like a waste of time if he does respond, but if we just wait and do nothing then nothing has been progressed. We're at a stand still here.

I'm sure people will get in the mood again once the collab has been released. Some of us just aren't sure about whether this has made any progress since the last update. I'm not saying nothing's been done, but there may be others that don't feel that, to which they should know that there are people working on this. They have lives to live too. For those who think this is impressive, that I sent many messages to this forum, it's not. Spammers do this for a living and they tend to be banned for some time. If you feel this way, please don't ban me. I feel like I put a lot of "hard" work contributing towards this collab and I would really hate it if you pull the plug of my name from this shindig. If it was spamming, it would be multiple messages with the exact "ctrl+c, ctrl+v" pasted comments relating to calling someone:
- Gay
- Faggot
- *insert racist comment here*
- Or all/none of the above.
I am just a bored person waiting for something to happen. Imagine me as a scientist messing around with deadly chemicals. I'm just waiting for a reaction to happen. I'll let you know the results.

Another thing is that Newgrounds is doing a blackout session in protest of CISPA, so if you take a while to respond I know why. It'll save you from a few minutes of typing and carpal tunnel. Really, you should be thanking me. Your welcome.

Also, if you want more easter egg male cow manure or more 1 second clips, say otherwise. I know we've done all that we can do as of now, but considering the fact that there's a bit more time left maybe there's something I can do something that'll contribute to making this thing all the better/more fun/worth the watch.
I probably sound desperate now... and you'd be right. But it beats thinking about when it's gonna be uploaded.

I hope that the people who view these easter eggs have much of fun and joy out of it as much as we do. They be like "dafuq?" more or less because we were like "lololololyolo" and they'll be like "areyoufuckigkiddingme.jpeg" which then we'll be all like "nope.avi".

Good things come to those who wait. They're probably just making the whole collab look good for its release. We wanna make a good impression, especially on NewGrounds. What we show is what we're capable of. Though it may not be the greatest flash ever, it's still something to be accomplished by. It's even bigger for those who work hard on the coding, layout, design and the organisation of this collab that'll give us that interesting appeal.

I may not be hyped now, but I definately will be when it's under judgement.

P.S. Not that it's in my interests, but what would you think if this got daily 1st-5th? Not that I'm saying it will, but what would your reaction be? All I would say is congrats on all the hard wok that everyone has gone through to achieve it.

Yeah, having our icons linked to our accounts does seem like a better idea than to have a biography added since we basically animated 1 second of a cartoon.
Plus, we do want this out by the start of April (no rush), in order to release it quickly it will be better to have something little added to what can link the viewing audience to view our content.

Though since I haven't heard anything from pkmn2, I'm going to say he's working on the collab. Maybe adding the finishing touched before publishing. Is there any chance we can get an update?

Gonna do a 12-hour animation marathon on Newgounds, watching most of my personal favourites. Watch them all the day before the Open Round for true inspiration and to conclude a single idea on how to appoach each round.
Different style for each theme? Detailed backgrounds for better scoring? Time length to complete each entry?
It's going to be really challenging, considering this is the first time I've actually done this sort of thing.

Can't wait for the Open Round on April 1st. I've seen all these tournaments come and go and I watch all of them over and over again, you know for research. And I couldn't be more prepared than this. I've heard great things come out of this event and I finally decided that this would be the year I take my stand. Winning his title will give me a sensational feel of accomplishment, and with this, I hope to live on a better future. But even if I don't win, being part of the tournament would at least provide me with some thought of improvement. And at least I would have some original themed cartoons to show everyone else.

Nevertheless, I'm mostly interested in meeting new people. I've also heard that NATA and Newground are great places to meet new people. Maybe I get a few names now for those who are taking part, or whoever find this forum interesting and you just want to throw in your thoughts and opinions on the whole event.

I'm on board for that. Although you may want to be more specific with the profile picture, like dimensions and file format. Makes it more easier for everyone else to understand. Plus if we've got a lot of space to cover, then a big profile picture would be benefitial than a 60x60px image.

Quick question. I know how long it takes to edit, arrange and finally publish this collab to Newgrounds. When will the collab be ready to upload? I don't want a precise answer but an estimate is what I'm more or less looking for.

Maybe I can give it a try. Here's my past animations, just so you can get a feel of what the animation for the video may look like. Although this content is quite ancient, I still know my ground when it comes to flash animating.
