I been coming to newgrounds for a while and I don't get a chance to really post alot but I do enjoy all the great flash and art.. Anyway. Down to business.. I need some help comming up with some art for a little flash piece I"m working on. I put it up on a Elance site but if some one here wants to do it I can pay you instead. Here is what I'm looking for..

I require a flash page of a small world or town for small children to be a representation of where special dolls live. The requirement is that each of the 8 sections can be transformed from a dull run down landscape to a beautiful landscape when different params are sent to the flash page.

Imagine like the Simpsons landscape but it can be scrolled from right to left. If you are interested in the project please contact us with price and we will send you an example of the art style.

I figure worst case is I just get a graphic artist to do me two images then I use action script and flash params to move out the dull image for the good time. Any ideas?

I think it should stay as a redirect to your new page until some one else claims the name. The only restriction would be if I change my name from xpnet to xpnet2 .. xpnet will still be locked until I make my 3rd change so the last name I changed to stays locked just in case I decided I wanted to go back to my old name.

If you need some help with the programming end I have plenty of experence and work close enough.

I been waiting for clock day .. but it seams that this year the vote rating seams higher then what the clock day flashs normally fall under. It seams like alot of ones I think should be around 3.8 are rated in the lower 4s for a typical clock day. Anyway! I can't wait to see view them all.

No, right from google.com firefox homepage typed in newgrounds.com in firefox and up popped the ad. There was a Ford banner ad at the bottom of this front page also. Anyways!! Here's a quick pic.

You almost definitely clicked on one of the banner ads. Your pop-up blocker would block any window that would show up as a result of that unless you have NG set to allow pop-ups.

I didn't click anything by choice.. but I use the popup option for viewing all the portal movies (Don't like the in window viewing) and that isn't blocked by the blocker. Default Firefox install.

The new layout is really nice, I really like the user pages and the random stuff from people on the front page.

You know.. but I figured that one day Fulp would generate an "Is this review helpful" kinda curve calculated how people rated your reviews. That way people voted on your ranking power to give a overall better review ranking. The new design so REALLY great but I really hate have the factors removed.

BUT THE SITE IS FANTASTIC.. I like the whole look and feel very impressive and it's great that you gave us kinda a small step into the new design with the new header back all them months ago.

NOW for my PERSONAL quirks..

1.) In writing a review, all the factors are missing (Humor, Style, Violence , Etc) and only have a 0 ~ 10 over all rating. This is now redundant because of the 0 - 5 rating for the quick vote. I spent a GREAT deal of my movie loading time reading the reviews and I like to see compared to what people write what do they rank for each area. Thins kinda takes a big part of the newgrounds community away from me.

2.) Missing noise when submitting portal vote 0 ~ 5

3.) Can we set a default to WATCH THIS MOVIE to popup in our user options.

OH!! You took away to rate different factors in the written reviews? Wow.. I'm really shocked at that one.. You have the 1 to 5 voting for a "general" review.. This does not make sense to me.

Can we set a default option in our profile so we get the Popup instead of the inpage viewing? I like the popup so I can read the reviews while I wait..

Like the use of HTML and the CSS very clean and you kept the Popup player (THANKYOU) of course I figured you'd be launching embedded content .. maybe that will be a level up thing.. only people with level 10 or higher can embed content on another site.

Flashback I have to say is the greatest and best flash NG related flash I seen! I always wanted to see a good P-bot fight and I got one!! Hand drawn also and traced with a mouse.. really sweet stuff! I still don't understand how you get 3d in flash but that movie was beutifully put together. It didn't have as many sound effects as some other other top submissions but the art more then makes up for it! Very good job!

I'm surpised no one did that cat jumping gif yet..

Tom, The end of your post sounds like those AD's running in South Jersey for radio stations looking for sales staff. Have tons of sales experence but no Ad sales experence.. SORRY.. Good Luck.

Tom great game, Just giving turbo right away takes away lot of the fun of the game for me. I'm big into RTS games and knowing that I could achieve a turbo level then have to keep my defenses up to keep myself powered up in the older version kept my replay value very high. I could beat the the whole game (before you made it easier) with only getting hit once. The new chances I get a AH vibe from it where before I felt like I was controlling brute force. I hope the new changes are to only to help new players feel some gratification and us hard core players in a possible future release will get the original challenging game play so we can formulate on how to defeat the different bosses. I haven't gotten time to play to the end (with the new changes) but I from the GP (game play) I think now maybe the end boss might not have the Brute force ability to just keep him knocked up in the air until he is dead.

Couple things i noticed, I have a dual 2.4 Xeon workstation with 4 gigs of ram and a ATI rad 9000 video card and some of the transitions are now more slightly noticeable with a bit of lag. I think with the slower game speed it wasn't as noticeable of course flash has it's limits. Good luck! and looking forward to DnM on the Rev/GC.
