I meant telling the flash to load an outside movie, by id for example.

movie.swf?id=30

then it loads the movie that has the id 30 in an sql database....

load an outside movie like a wmv or avi into flash ? Like the players they have on youtube and metacafe.com...

Im just going to check for a cookie at the begining and if it exists, set the sessions to the cookie value. If the cookie doesnt exist, I check for a session. If that also doesnt exist I send them to a login page. :)

Ok guys I am making a member user system a lot like on every other site out there :P but I have a problem.

I am using cookies currently to track the user once they login and all. Thats fine.

But I was thinking if a user doesn't allow cookies or doesn't want one, to use sessions.

Now...how would I use both together? Im kinda confused :X
How would I set this up? (Im not asking for any coding tips :P) Just want to know a way to set it up. Should I do something like check for a cookie and if there isnt one check for a session and if there is one show logged in menu, and if there is neither show a guest menu...?
