I did some thinking yesterday...we Dutchies are the tallest people on the planet, doesn't this also mean that we averagely (difficult word) have the biggest penisses on the planet? If so, it rules to be this guy.

I'm working on a menu for my flash movie, in the progress I ran into a little problem. I know how to make a menu (one layer with one frame with a stop(); action in it, and then some buttons), problem is I don't want the music to stop which it does because of the stop action. Any solutions?

Topic: Looking for an Artist

Anyway, I am looking for an artist to help me out on a game I am writing. It's just a side scroller. I had several levels done, but lost a few because of my own stupidity and poor equipment. The game itself is being written in 3DFA. All in all it's not as bad of a program as I thought it would be, it lets you write code in javascript and everything. Anyway the games graphics are just raster images created outside of 3DFA which are then scrolled in the game.

I had originally planned to do it all myself, but I'm not a great artist at all and it would probably have taken a long time. If you think you have the time to create some graphics that match the game, I'd like to hear from you.

I know it's considered rude here to ask for an artist without showing some of your own work, so I put what I have so far in the alpha section here: (it's only one level)

Thanks in advance.

A very interesting game, I would love to help you although I'm not sure what kind of artist you're looking for... here's a little showcase of a project I'm working on right now: http://media.putfile.com/Fasar_1 Don't mind the white borders, I'm kinda having a fight with putfile at the moment.

The shadow should be fainter and smaller when the leaf is far up in the air.. as it works its way down the shadow should become darker and sharper.

Hmmm, you're right, I think I'll change that for the final version... Thanks

Your drawing looks really good, very 'arty'. Nice contrast with the colors.

Seems very good for a first flash at the moment. Good job. It is meant to be like an enchanted forest or something, right?

Thanks a lot, I need some comments to keep me motivated at the moment, and yes, it is supposed to be some kind of fairy-taleish forest :)

Erm... I really don't know if I'm allowed to do this, but my friend is a pretty gifted artist when it comes to drawing webcomics but he doesn't get much visitors. So I came up with the brilliant idea to post his link on the NG bbs ;). Please check it out and tell me what you think (I'll forward it to him).

Hey, I'm making a flash (or at least trying to make one) and I stumbled upon a problem: I want to use a song and I want to make it continue in all of the scenes. I've streamed the song, and stuffed it in a movieclip in the first scene, however I don't know how to make the song continue in the second scene. I was hoping somebody here can help me?
