I don't know if it's intentional or not, but that first one looks really good! What effects are you trying to accomplish?

First: brilliant style, great fbf animation and great voice-acting.

A few minor things:
- The voices are a little too soft, I can't hear them too wel because of the music. I guess part of it is intentional to give it a more smooth, fast-paced music-clipish style (which works really well), but I think they should be just a little louder.
- Also, something you probably can't change anymore, those blue boxes. Everything looks so detailed and nice, but those boxes are just... well... boxes (with a gradient), they contrast a little with the rest of the movie I think.

Overall: Brilliant, frontpgae material.

To be honest, no I don't like it. It's way too basic, try to spend a little more time on it.

It's very choppy and empty and static, keep on working on it. Add some backgrounds and sounds, make the ball roll and bounce, the usual stuff.

I actually never thought of using masks to create the reflections, nice work. One thing though: Because of the zigzag lines the animation looks a little choppy, maybe you should just use diagonal lines.

The colors hurt my eyes and it looks kinda basic, wait, make that really basic. But if that's the style you're aiming for, and the finished product looks good, then I guess it's okay.

First: Practise drawing perspective, because your pic looks a little... strange.

As for the question, I have no idea what you mean, but if you lower the alpha of the fill of your window, you can draw a sun in a new layer underneath the layer which contains your other drawing. That way it'll look like the sun is actually outside.

I just read your story on dA, and indeed, it's pretty great. Too bad I don't have enough time on my hands to help you (if you even wanted me too). Hopefully you'll find a skilled animator because the storytelling is pretty good and most worthy of a flash animation.

Quicker than i expected.

Are you even going to help the poor guy or not? For only 0.2 mb you could try to delete some unused symbols in your library, when your Flash is finished most of the time you'll end up with some useluss stuff that's just sitting in your library. Other than that, if you use jpeg's or other images, try to lower their quality, or the quality of the sounds/songs you used.

Flash games, or animations at that, don't have a fixed screen size - everybody uses a different size - so I don't think that would work.

Where are the platforms? And,why can you only jump straight? The animation looks fairly smooth, but maybe you should have made it a little bigger before posting it...

The shooting animation when you move looks strange, like it's only one frame. And the backgrounds look dull (but I guess that isn't finished yet). Overall it's not really special, yet.

That depends on your flash, and the amount of symbols, animations, music, effects, bitmaps etc. etc. are in it. It could be 2 hours or 2 minutes.
