This is a tough goddamn industry, full of people who'll tell you you're great, and then stab you in the fucking back and lie about it to your face. I've had it happen. People say that you're the greatest, and then never call you back.

I still wouldn't give it up for the world, and if he feels the same way, he's gonna have an easier time letting the bullshit slide than most. And if he excels, he can achieve greatness. But he can still fall pretty hard, even if he does excel.

So really, I'm trying to say good luck, but anyone can be replaced.

Believe me, kid, I'm 23 and I just recently realized how replaceable I am with a group that told me I wasn't. And everyone I've ever worked with has told me I'm one of the best they've worked with. I've worked alongside Ming Na, Luke Goss, Joey Travolta, Charlene Tilton, Scott Bakula... I've worked for 20th Century Fox, I've been on 3 features, one of which was a million dollar action flick that Showtime just picked up and will premiere on June 4th. All of them have told me I was among the best they'd worked with.

I'm currently unemployed.

They're not good, technically, sort of, but I kinda like them. There's a charm to them. It's a nice little style. Doesn't really stand out a whole lot, but doesn't irritate me. It's bland in a good way.

And yes, the community on SA is better than any other forum I've been on, pretty much. And I can say that from firsthand experience interacting and being part of that community, who were a lot nicer than I expected, and much more clever (and I had THAT bar set pretty high by retsu and chipcheezum), not "From what I've heard" or kneejerk reactions to my favorite autistic hugbox being "ruined" by a couple of maybe bad eggs, or maybe guys just having fun.
