No, you suck because you voted Conservative. I am a member of the Liberal Party, and although it was a minority elected, I am very happy about the outcome, yet upset over the way the polls porjected the Conservatives even had a chance in my province of Ontario. Harper had high profile Americans campaigning against him, like Michael Moore and Ross Perot. When Americans take that much interest in a Canadian minority government, there must be something seriously wrong with the party they are critical of. Harper predicts that the conservative party will grow, and Layton predicts that the NDP will expand as well. In the next election, however, when sponsorship is virtually forgotten by Canadians, the majority will go to the Liberals, who fit naturally with the overall beliefs of Canadians. The criticism I have for Paul Martin is, don't appoint candidates to ridings, let them be nominated on their own. After all, the people nominating them in their riding, will be the base voting for them on election day. VIVE LES LIBERALS!
I was at the tower of Pisa in March. They didn't have the gates then, and security consisted of having to put all bags away in a locker. No metal detectors, nothing. The tower is pretty stable, yet the stairs near the top are so worn away, I was in fear of tripping and falling to my bloody death every time I took a step. They only let 40 people in the tower every hour, I am not sure why, but Italy is not necessarily a stable country, and some of its citizens may not necessarily be stable people. This is true of any country, and I believe the tower admin is just trying to protect the tourism industry Pisa depends on so much. Half the town works in that industry, and if the tower were to fall, it would devastate the region, and would be a cultural loss to the Italian people.

Personally, I am a Liberal to the core. Their values are just much more in line with the values of the majority of Canadians. Unfortunately, many people are upset with them, and they are going to vote Conservative to spite the Liberals. Forgive them, they know not what they are doing. And that is the problem. So many Canadians don't vote, and most of the ones that do are so uninformed, they choose an evil man like Stephen Harper to be the leader of the best country in the world.
If Bush wins because of Nader, I will flip!

That's just my opinion. May be biased, especially coming from a Left Wing Canadian in the aftermath of SARS, a dispute over lumber tariffs, an international argument over the war in Iraq, Mad Cows running rampant, and the War of 1812, which I must say it is George W Bush's fault for causing and losing to the Canadian Army.

You can't say that someone was a good leader because they led a country out of a depression by preparing and bringing them into war.
It is a good idea, as that will allow the government to be more powerful, and therefore get more things done, and thus become more imperialistic, and closer to destroying the entire will. The loss of freedoms is not a good thing when someone like dubya is running your country. Personally, I am a Canadian, and we have an election coming up next month. If the Conservative leader (equivalent of Republican for Americans) gets in, we will be losing all of our freedoms, and Canada will be burnt to the ground.
